Hello girls, thank you so much for swinging by. Today i would love to show you card iam really happy with and i enjoyed making the card making process. I have worked on this card about 2 days.
I think it shows :-) on all of the images is quite some masking and tweaking going on. Sitting Tilda was a tick too big for me to sit on just one barrel, so i have masked the barrel, anchor and skull to the left and added some tape to the right, just so one would fit.
The card closes with a hinge (Stampin up Hodgepode) and a ribbon, the sentiment is printed with the computer (font Caribbean).
In the inside of the card i used Jolly Tilda and the palm tree is from the Hawaii or Summer collection 2008 i guess. The tree bend way more to the left, but if i would have stamped it that way, barley any leaves would show. So i bend the stamp a bit on my acryl block, it was a pain cause my EZ is not really sticky anymore and it would flip back by the time i was ready to stamp :-)
Anyhow.. what can i say :-) i like this card :-)
The sketch for this week is provided by my friend Carole, who is host this week. Hopefully you will play along and post your own creation on the Friday Sketcher blog where we have “Simon Says Stamp ” sponsoring a sweet prize this week! The fabulous Sassy Sketcher girls who have made a card for this week are:
Inge, Janneke, Jeanette and Tanja
Ps: iam not even sure if “you are a treasure” is a term you would say in English.. i have translated it from German – so please forgive it it is kind off for most of you
some measurements: the card is 6x6 (Jolly Tilda)
the other panel is 4x12 folded in half and “wrapped” around the 6x6 piece. The backside of my card is decorated with Designer paper as well
