A "Daisy" Kind Of Day ....

Hello :-) good morning... my card for today was quite a bit of work but oh it was fun to just sit and work on something that had not to be done fast. Carole who is the host for this weeks "Old Magnolia Challenge" picked retro Tilda. I love her very much and she inspires me a lot. For my card i used the wagon out of the Easter collection and inked just the bottom part - trying to avoid the eggs. Than i stamped Tilda a second time and just cut out the daisy's. i used some of them to add into the wagon. The "bigger" daisy is the smaller one out of a set of 2 (you can see the bigger daisy used in the inside) and just added those. The grass area is hand drawn.

Papers: Stampin up and Imaginice, Making Memories (pink polka dot)
Tools: Fiskars Apron lace punch
Embellishements: Shimmerz "Angle Wings" on the daisies; Stampin up ribbon, Making Memories button, Stickles on frame, Ranger white gel pen, Martha Stewart big pearl stickers
Please take a look at my friends cards who also have created a card using this image. If you like to join in our challenge each week.. feel free to use Carole's, Jaqueline's, Bea's or my blog to link your creation.

Tilda holding Tulip - Special Edition

Hello and a wonderful start into the new week. Today's card was made with a stamped image that i have received from my wonderful friend Jaqueline. I combined 2 challenges.. Cute Card Thursday's (tear, sew and distress) and "Stamp With Fun"!
For the inside i used the tulip Magnolia stamp that can be found in the Shabby Chic Collection and the sentiment is from the new Chasing Butterfly Collection. See that beautiful lace??? oh.. i love it .. Carole ordered it for me in Sweden and than sent it to me xxxx thank you so much.. i sewed that right to the paper, so it will not move.

Stamps: All Magnolia (i am not sure when this Tilda will go up for sale for all of us to buy. i think it was a Special Edition stamp for a store in the Netherlands!) sniff, sniff :-(
Paper: Basic Grey Wisteria, Cardstock by Stampin Up!
Tools/Embellishments: Nestabilities, Martha Stewart Satin Ribbon, Robins Nest,
Coloring: Copic

Today i also would like to tell you about a very special blog i have found :-) please make sure to check out Hannas Hobbyblog!!! Gosh.. her work is amazing..

Just sittin' here thinking of you...

Hello :-) this is a very clean and simple card that i have made for Magnolia Sweden with the supplies that were provided. The size of the card base was i think a invitation size. I forgot to measure it out. All what i have done was using my Cuttlebug embossing folder on a white piece of paper and embossed just half of it, so i was able to stamp this wonderful sentiment that can also be found in the Chasing Butterfly Collection on the flat bottom part of the paper. I tied a ribbon around the seam and added "Spring Tilda" with pop up dots onto the ribbon. Some lilac Robins Nest in the corners finish the card.

Embellishments: Orchid Robins Nest and Stampin up ribbon

Celebrate Today - Chasing Butterfly Collection

Hello, today i would love to show you a card that i have made for Magnolia Sweden. I got the flower paper but i wanted to make my card for the Friday Sketcher blog :-) so i used some of my own paper so i was able to create all the layers that the sketch asked for. It almost looks like it is from the same line (my Minds Eye). Again.. bad picture... :-( if it is cloudy outside i can not lift the shadows out of my pictures.
I do receive my Magnolia DT stamps unmounted - because we get so many supplies that it is just not so heavy for shipping. So when my stamps arrive i do mount my stamps on EZ mount. I used to purchase them on Ebay until i have found that 7kids offers Sunday International EZ mount as well and for a really fabulous price! Did you know that there is also thin EZ mount out there? I have started to unmount some of my Stampin up stamps and use the foam that the SU stamps come on and just mount them on thin EZ mount. Why wasting the foam right?
Embellishments: Shimmerz" Angle Wings" paint on the wings for shimmer, buttons: FoFaLa, Hemp by Stampin up
Other: Cuttlebug die
This card is made for this weeks Friday Sketcher Challenge blog. Please take a look what Carole, Bea, Heidi, Jaqueline , Kristine and Murmur came up with using the sketch for this week.

I just heard

Hello good morning :-) gosh.. the tile of my card is "i just heard" it is so funny... it matches what i wanted to tell you about. My friend Kristine has told me 2 days ago that she is going to leave the Friday Sketcher blog. Iam very very sad about that. Not only because Kristine is a long time friend of mine - also because her wonderful creative cards. She has done sooo much for us.. the new blog layout - everything was done by her! Thank you sweetie! So we all chatted these days a lot what we would like to do and we have decided to have a GDT call tomorrow up on the Friday Sketcher blog. If you have a blog and you feel like you can contribute each week a nice card and come up eventually with a sketch - we would love to see your artwork! More information will be up on the Friday Sketcher blog tomorrow.

Now back to my card.. i have made it about 2 weeks ago before i had my new Chasing Butterfly stamps in.. i thougt what a cute image to make a card just with yellow, black and white colors. I was than getting so busy with my new stamps that i had no time to come up to in cooperate tearing, sewing and distressing on one card for Cute Card Thursday - just sewing it had to be :-) . This time i have used my Golden Wheat paint from Shimmerz , to paint the yellow prima flowers sparkly. This paint is wonderful.. the flowers are kind of fuzzy and i sort of expected the paint to be sucked in.. but nothing.. it stayed right there and once it was dry it still shimmered so pretty.

This is the inside of my card.. I think this is only my second card i have made so far where i have colored a second image in for the inside. It does look nice but boy it is quite some extra work :-)

Embellishments: Shimmerz paint in Golden Wheat, Stampin up hardware silver hodgepodge, Making Memories button, Chocolate Chip Inkpad, Stampin up "so Saffron" ribbon
Tools: Nestabilities (Large deckled Rectangles, large Circle set/scalloped and plain) Cuttlebug Embossing folder
Paper/Cardstock: all by Stampin up, white and black

Spring is here - Tilda with watering can

Hello good and a wonderful Wednesday. Usually we have on Wednesday our "old Magnolia" challenge card up - but this weekCarole's StartdustGemsRibbon, Bea's Megastamper blog, Jaqueline's Creja Kaarten and I were so busy with family and house that we have decided to postpone Caroles challenge until next week.
This one of my DT cards for Magnolia. My task with this collection is to create 5 6x6 sized cards an 1 invitation size card. Magnolia does kindly provide each DTM with all the supplies we need to make those cards like the flowers, brads and of course the stamps lol. For this card i colored the watering can in the soft lilacs and picked up the soft pink that's in some stripes to color Tildas clothes in. See how nicely Tilda fits onto the watering can? she is narrow, so if she is sitting on the can, you can still see most of the details of the image she is sitting on!

Thank you!!!
Tomorrow is going to be busy on my blog :-) i have 2 postings and a couple of exciting news that you might be interested in.

From The Kitchen Off... "Magnolia"

Hello good morning :-) i would like to show you a card made for Magnolia Sweden. I used for this card the "pot with Spring onions". I love this stamp :-) This stamp is perfect to use with Tildas but also to make "non-cute" cards. My aunt loves to cook and i think that's totally a style card she would love to receive. The flowers, sparkly brad and patterned paper is provided by Magnolia Sweden, i believe it is Daisy D's but iam not sure. Since i had only one sheet of patterned paper i dressed the image up with some Flower Soft i purchased at 7kids. A very inexpensive way to add interest. This stuff is easy to use and it last forever :-)

Stamps: Magnolia "pot with Spring onions" Chasing Butterfly Collection 2009, Sentiment: Stampin up " from the Kitchen of"
Papers: sent by Magnolia Sweden
Embellishments: Swiss Cuttlebug embossing folder, Copics and Flower Soft can be found at 7 Kids College,
Fund, hardware: Stampin up, clip: Making Memories

Get Well

Hello.. wow iam late today.. especially since i had this photo already finished. This card was made using supplies i have received through Magnolia Sweden. I like that grey organic patterned Designer Paper. I thought that it would really nice with the watering can and just let this nice design shine. I have made a second card using this very versatile stamp - in bright cheerful colors that gives the card a totally different look. This one i thought would be great "get well" card. I just added some color to the wings of the butterfly in pink.

Sentiment: Papertrey Ink
Paper and Embellishments: Source unknown sent by Magnolia Sweden

You make me smile - Tilda With Umbrella

Good morning :-) gosh.. iam in love with my new "children" :-) This image is definitely one of my personal favorites. I got some papers from Magnolia to make my DT cards and sent them back to Sweden - and i swear i was about to make a card using her 3x. So i choose a piece of this double sided 6x6 paper, cut in 1/3 turned one side and just sewed the seam with a decorative stitch - some embellishments and ribbons from my own stash to finish the card.

I dont know if you have seen it but since yesterday you can order the new stamps out of this collection at Magnolia Sweden - dont forget about the wonderful sentiments that go along with the cute stamps of this line!

Embellishments: Stampin up ribbon, Michaels pink flower, Swarovski Chrystals.
As you know Diana Crick has them all ordered and they should be arriving shortly in her store. Remember you can use your coupon that you are getting as a valued member of the Magnolia-licous yahoo group.

Tilda with lilacs - New Butterfly Collection 2009

Hello and a happy Friday..
Today's card is made for the Friday Sketcher blog. Yesterday morning i had not even started with this card.. but i must say the next few sketches for the blog are absolutely AMAZING. I have started a second card with this sketch by Kristine and next weeks card using Murmurs sketch is already finished :-)

I was thinking eventually you would love to see a card like REALLY big so you could study the coloring - something different than a coloring tutorial? If you like than you could just click on the first picture and it will show up un-shrinked. If you do not like it too big - than the one below is a good fit for the screen.

Papers: Stampin up and Imaginice

This card is made for this weeks Friday Sketcher Challenge blog. Please take a look what Carole, Bea, Heidi, Jaqueline , Kristine and Murmur came up with using the sketch for this week

Happy Mothers Day

Hi :-) how are you today :-) This is my card for the "old" Magnolia Challenge. My sweet friend Bea came up with this stamp. Don't you love this one? If you have her as well we would love you to join this challenge. She would make a wonderful Mothers Day card. You could visit Bea's, Carole's or Jaquelines blog and check out what sketch they used. Thank you so much for swinging by today.
oh and one quick reminder.. as promised i will pick a winner from all my subscribers for some goodies. Iam gathering already some stuff. There are going to be 4 new Magnolia stamps, 2 sets of Stampin up, Scorpal and more.. The reason why i would love to pick a winner from the subscribers is simply because it will be easier for me. I can just import the data into Excel and have random org pick a person.

Please take a look at my friends cards who also have created a card using this image. If you like to join in our challenge each week.. feel free to use Carole's, Jaqueline's, Bea's or my blog to link your creation.CBC+J players are:Carole's StartdustGemsRibbon, Bea's Megastamper blog, Jaqueline's Creja Kaarten

Easy

Hello and a wonderful Monday. I just got up because i hared the school bus waiting outside for my son.. i was like hu! what is going on.. it is Easter Monday :-) iam telling you 7 years in the USA and iam still not familiar with everything.
My card for today was a disaster.. i really must say i was so happy once it was done. Besides that i had not much time this past week with the kids home to craft - nothing went smoothly by making the card. It started out that i wanted to make a card which was simple and easy to mass produce. I think the layout is good for that .. the punched border looks "fancy" but does not cost much to recreate on a bunch of cards. Than i colored my image in and i simply was not happy with it. I than struggled with the ribbon - and than i just wanted to add 3 little Robins Nest glass beads and they left pink residue on my white paper :-( so i had to play with other embellishments to cover that up. I hate when things like this happen.
Stamp: Tilda with rose from the Pink Collection is available at Magnolia-licous
Papers: Stampin up and Bittersweet Basic Grey all scraps
Embellishments: Robins Nest, Prima Marketing, Nestabilities, Martha Stewart "Fond", "Doily Lace" punch, Martha Stewart red glitter around the focal point to create a border, Satin ribbon Michaels
This card is created for this weeks challenge over on Stamp with fun! i hope you can join in.. we have all used Pinks and Browns for our cards this week!

Easter Wishes

Hello, today's card is a sketch challenge card for Magnolia-licous and for the "old Magnolia Challenge " (lol.. old yes haha). If you remember the Wedding card i have made? Well this time i just arranged the layers of papers a bit "crooked" and i added a sentiment using a old tag that i have found in the stash. I liked that little hemp string that it has on.. it really looks nice for this Easter card. The Designer Paper is really old.. i think i had it for about 4 or 5 years already. I am actually surprised how nice that big pattern still showed on the card.
Stamps: all Magnolia stamps i got them through Magnolia-licous.
Papers: Bo-Bunny (i think), Stampin up: Bashful Blue, Chocolate Chip, M. Gold Morning,
Embellishment: Prima Marketing, Stampin up ribbon, Making Memories
Please take a look at my friends cards who also have created a card using this image. If you like to join in our challenge each week.. feel free to use Carole's, Jaqueline's, Bea's or my blog to link your creation.CBC+J players are:

Free Hugs To Give

Almost finished with my Easter cards :-) i promise! I got my Easter stamps so late -and i really love the images that iam so late with showing them. I thought this card would work also for fall. I used for this card a current sketch from the FSB. The interesting embellishments are all gifts that my wonderful friends have sent me. I start at the bottom of the card. I used some "mesh" over my "wood" patterned paper that sweetheart Carole sent me. I would have loved a chicken wire stamp but to be honest.. i love it this way much better. The feather, ribbon and the ticket were sent to me along with many more super cool things from my very talented friend Kristine. She also gave me a Colorbox chalk inkpad which i used to sponge the twill, tag and more.. i think i got a bit carried away with all my sponging lol
Papers: Fancy Pants (floral), Stampin up
Embellishments: Twill, Ticket, bads and button by Making Memories, Ribbon by Stampin up,

Hugging

Hello good morning. Today i have some exciting news - there are 2 new challenges starting beginning this week. Iam so honoured that i was invited to join the fabulous group of card designers. I totally love challenges but my time with family and house is not too much so in order to be able to join the challenge groups i have decided to drop out of Regina's Cutting Cafe DT. I loved designing for Regina. She is a sweetheart! But joining the challenge sites is just a little less commitment especially since i have noticed that i need more time for my family. Some of you might now that one of my children has special needs.
Anyhow.. this week is spring break and i have worked all my cards ahead of time so i have more time for the boys and i was not able to make a card for both new challenge sites :-) I did not want to miss to invite you over and check the new sites out.

Papers: Making Memories and Stampin up (Night of Navy, Old Olive, So Saffon

Embellishments: Ribbons and clip by Stampin up, Stickles: Ranger

Stampavie challenge is up for you every other Monday starting at the first week of the month.

"Stamp with Fun" a new challenge (themed and sketches) is up every Monday for everyone to play along.

New Magnolia Wedding Collection & Mini stamps

Hello and a wonderful Saturday. Wow.. thank you so much for all your lovely comments yesterday!! xxx :-) Today's card is rather simple. I followed a sketch that was given from my Magnolia-licous DT. I really used the sketch 1:1 as requested - i thought the more formal layout works nicely for a wedding card. I used a piece of paper that i got from Magnolia Sweden and since i had no settled matching Designer Paper i used my Cuttlebug folder to emboss a piece of Shimmery White SU cardstock.

Recipe:
Stamps: Magnolia Rubberstamps: New 2009 Wedding Collection, Papertrey Ink for Sentiment
Designer Paper: Imaginice, SU: Pink Pirouette, Going Grey, Shimmery White
Embellishments: Ribbon: Joann's, Dollar Store satin flower, pearl stickers for crown
Tools: Sewing Machine, Cuttlebug: Tiny Tags, Polka Dot embossing folder

This image was stamped and sent to me by my friend Jaqueline! If you like to have more sneak peeks of stamps check out her blog. She also has a very, very cute Tilda stamp holding a tulip in her hands!
Here is one more picture i can show you. I have received the tin on the right hand side from Magnolia with my DT package. It included some buttons so they do not get lost. I just got a few days before the mail arrived from Sweden 2 Mini Magnolia stamps from my friend Carole :-) yes yes i am being spoiled lol. And i thought ohhhh.. they just look so cute on top of the tin. So i just quickly colored the images in. Did a little decorating and a nice gift idea was quickly finished.
The wedding card and those tins should be by now in Sweden!

Don't forget about those wonderful blogs.. they have some awesome candy's up right now
Malin's fantastic blog candy!!! Happy 35 birthday sweetie!
Tina's fabulous candy Tina is showing sneak peeks for her 40. birthday candy

Just Buzzin' By To Say Happy Mothers Day

To create the multi layered wings - i colored Tilda in like i have seen it on Carole's card . I than stamped the image multiple times onto Vellum and just cut the wings out and the part of the sleeve. Than i used a Zig glue pen and glued the Vellum together (part of sleeve). Once dried i folded the Vellum on the line of the wings up and glued it down to the main image. The wings on the main image are painted with Shimmerz paints in Pixie Dust.

This sentiment is created with the Computer! I thought i is sooo cute ;-) i have asked Helene from Alota Rubberstamps if she would be able to make this sentiment into a stamp... I hope she will.. If you are interested as well would you please sent her a email :-) info@alotarubberstamps.com
The inside is made up to match the front ot the card. I have used different Nestabilitie shapes. If you like all the very new ones take a look at 7kids!!! Tab just got a new delivery with all the new CHA releases in!
Coloring: all Copic markers and Neenah paper an be found at 7 kids college fund
This card is made for this weeks Friday Sketcher Challenge blog. Please take a look whatCarole,Bea,Heidi,Jaqueline ,Kristine and Murmur came up with using the sketch for this week

Easter Eggstravaganza

Hello how are you today? Have you been over on Cute Card Thursday blog to check out the new challenge? The DT has created some cards and projects using "Citrus Colors"... I don't know if you noticed my mistake i have made last week :-) i mixed weeks up and my card using Tilda chasing butterflies was actually made for today. So i was kind of clueless what to make Hot Pink, Yellow, Lime and Oranges are just not colors i feel secure with. Luckily Deb let me submit this little altered Chocolate box. This was done within one hour and if you do not count the chocolate, the cost of this project is about $1 for paper and that little string of ribbon.
I have gotten all stamps through Magnolia-liocus! I don't know if you have seen that Diana Crick also offers her very own "Collection kit" for an very good price for everybody! But wait there are some other fantastic news....

For members of MAGNOLIA-licious yahoo group only will be a discount code announced the first of each month. This will give you a certain discount on one rubber stamp of your choice. I will list the conditions if there are any for example "minimum order is 2 stamps". I will explain how to apply the discount when I announce what the discount will be. Free shipping is available for all US and CDN customers.
