Hang In There ~ Going Nuts ~ Gift Set 3 part 2

Hello ladies, thank you for visiting me today. Gosh a busy week is over.. i have in the morning 8am a little friend of Lucas here now to watch till afternoon. Definitely those little ones keep me moving :-)
For my gift set today i was inspired by that cute little Magnolia monkey. i thought how cute he would be to give a "silly" gift idea.. kind of like some movie tickets and the nuts to go with it. You know.. just something out of the ordinary.

What i have done is to open the clear acetate pillow box (once i designed for store that sold ribbons and that's where got sent in) and layed it flat onto my designer paper. I traced with a pencil the rounding, carefully cutting it out - lay it inside - close and eventually trim some more. The paper is double sided so one side shows the polka dot paper and than the "half" side the orange "botanical" side. The piece of scrap that i have created was used to decorate the matching tag.

Stamps: Magnolia - Pet Collection 2009
Sentiment" Hang in There" & "Monkey"

Paper: all by stampin up
Embellishments: all by Stampin up

Best Friends - Pet Collection #2 part 2

Hello girls, thank you for clicking by today. Today i would love to show you the entire gift set using the new Magnolia Pet Collection stamps. I thought this would be so cute little gift for a girl with a pony or horse.
The bag is one of those i am getting my buttons in. I usually buy the FoFaLa buttons and when i get them home i poor them in other containers. On the picture below you can see how i have created the label. What i have done is - i used the Sizzix scalloped circle (a bit bigger than Nesties) and roughly estimated the center and cut with my Excacto knife from the left and the right a piece out so there would be rectangular shape in the middle left. Fold it down and used that piece as a holder. My English most likely does not make ANY sense at all right now. hahaha

If you like to order some Stampin up stuff.. my friend Carole is a Stampin up Demonstrator in England, you could contact her here to get some of the new Stampin up stuff. :-)
CS/Design Paper: My Minds Eye (exact paper line unknown), Stampin up (Cranberry Crisp, True Thyme)
Tools: Sizzix Scalloped Circle die
Embellishments: Ranger liquid pearls, Prima Marketing (Roses), Offray (ribbon), Button from stash

Remember: All the cute Pet Collection stamps can now be pre-ordered over at 7Kids College Fund

Celebrate - Lion & Elephant Gift set #1 part 2

Hello and a wonderful day. We have had so much rain yesterday, it was really hard for me to get nice pictures of my DT cards. I must mail my stuff back to Magnolia Sweden. sniff sniff and are not able to get new pictures taken. The coloring looks all washed out. The bag was created for Cute Cards Thursday Challenge "Tag it". Below is a group shot of the entire gift set.
I don't know why blogger sometimes does not show up pictures in big when you click on them. I was never able to figure that out. So, just in case it does not work once the posting is up.. here is a shot zoomed into the coloring details.

Last but not least i would like to say thanks to all of you who have left me such kinds a comments on the Shimmerz Blog candy posting. The response to this amazing prize is just fabulous! Thank you ladies!

To decorate the back site of the gift bag i have used the same paper, some stitching and "one in a Million" sentiment stamp.

Papers: Stampin up (Cholate Chip), My Minds Eye (Penny Lane) DCVW (Safari)
Embellishments / Tools: Stampin up, Martha Stewart (Arched Lattice punch), Making Memories
Coloring: Copic Sketch Markers
To color the Elephant i have used lots of Warm Grey makers rather the Cool colors because of the tone of the Designer paper. I stayed with the low numbers so the elephant did not turn out black and used R20 for cheeks blending with C1. Colors for Lion can be found in my posting from yesterday. Airbrushing was done with E51
I would now love to sent you over to dear Linda's blog "Linanna Designs" to take a peek at her fabulous blog candy!

Celebrate - Lion Gift set #1

Hello thanks for swinging by today. As you know the Magnolia DT is very busy to show you lots of cards with the new fabulous "Pet Collection". My approach to this kit this time was to show you how wonderful those stamps are to make cute little gifts for kids AND adults. Some are quickly made some not... Since my kids are home from school i do not have too much time for crafting so i have to split my postings up. I wished i could post one set in one posting :-). Please come tomorrow and see the second part of my first gift set ( i have in total 4 sets made). I thought it might be helpful for some of you if i took the numbers down that i have used to color the lion in.
Copics: E31(shadows & ears, E34 (tail, mane & ears), E11 (tummy), E17 (Tail, mane), E51 (blending), YR20 (body), YR21 (dark lights on body), Y23 (mane), R20 (checks, nose & paws)

Here is how i have made the card. First i have stamped the palm tree (Magnolia Party Collection 2008) than stamped the lion (Magnolia Pet Collection 2009) right over the palm without masking and again on a second piece. Airbrushed with E50 over the entire image, colored everything in, and cut the second lion out adhered it with pop up dots over the lion with palm tree.
Papers: (Stampin up Chocolate chip), DCVW (Safari), My Minds Eye (Penny Lane)
Embellishments: Stampin up (Ribbons), FoFaLa (Buttons), Making Memories (safety pin, brads)
Tools: Cuttlebug (Tiny Tags), Martha Stewart (arched lattice border punch)

You can pre-order all the new Pet Collection stamps at 7kids college fund or get some cuties from any of the other Collections RIGHT NOW :-) to play with!

The Copic Challenge blog wants you to color something "Wood" and on "Stamp With Fun" we want to see "Polka Dots" pretty easy right :-)

I know this pic looks kind of funny lol but it it was the best way to take a picture of the shimmer that i have created by using Shimmerz "Baby's Breath" spritz! I love it and i just spritzed of the entire card with flowers (focal point image not - i adered it to the card once dried)

Sweet Holiday Wishes

Hi, Wednesday's is usually the day when i show some cards made with Magnolia stamps from an older line. My friends and myself had emails asking if there would be a blog were everybody could show the own card rather, than linking it underneath on one of our blogs. We have decided to start the "Old Magnolia Challenge blog" This is a very casual blog. We will not have any prizes organized. We just want to offer a "meeting point" for those of you who also love the old images and want to show the cards made with those cuties.
For the challenge today i have chosen "Tilda with candy cane" from the 2008 Christmas Collection, i wanted to participate for so long on the "Christmas All Year Long" challenge blog. Besides coloring Tilda with Copic Markers i used Shimmerz paints in Celery Green (shadows on dress) and Pixie Dust on her apron. On the candy cane i used something i got the other day from 7kids.. its called SMOOH paint (Pearlized Accent Ink) pretty neat stuff. It almost looks like a nail polish the bottle has a super fine brush and i was able to get with that shimmery paint into all the little corners without trouble. On Tilda's wings and on the withe ares of the candy cane i have used Stickles.
Papers/CS: Heidi Grace (bought at Joanns) and Stampin upEmbellishments: Stickles Glitter Glue, Smooch paint in red, Shimmerz: Celery and Pixie Dust, Robins Nest in green, Stampin up: ribbon

Thank you dear Shirely for forwarding me this award!

i love your blog!

Simple Elegance

My gosh.. already Tuesday :-) i have to get my rear in gear to get my card for tomorrow done. Iam was the one who picked the image for the "old Magnolia challenge" and we start posting on our new blog tomorrow and i have not even started my card :-(

Is anybody of you going to the CHA in Florida next month? I just hared from my husband that he can take some days off work and we will be in Orlando. I would love to try meeting with you!

This card is a Magnolia Sweden DT card. So i wanted to make something that was finished fast.. so i could sent my cards back right away. I have noticed this great layout on SCS and just added some Shimmerz Baby's Breath spritz to the entire card. Sentiment was stamped with "Night of Navy".

Designer Papers: Basic Grey
Embellishments: Stampin up Ribbons, Prima Marketing swirls
Tools: Fiskars border punch, Nestabilities Label 4

Tomorrow is a blank page....

Hello good morning. This is my "girl" version using the super cute images from the Magnolia Graduation line. Iam not quite sure what paper brand it is cause all the supplies were sent to me by Magnolia Sweden where you purchase the stamps. To dress the card up a bit i used some of the clear acetate foil i had sitting on my table for this weeks Challenge on Cute Card Thursday. I just sponged the edges a little bit with timber brown Stazon so it would stand out a bit more against the paper.

Stamps: Magnolia Tilda and Sentiment from the Graduation 2009 Collection
Tools: Nestabilities, Retro Flower punch small and medium
Cuttlebug Swiss Dot
This Tilda was just taken from 7 kids College fun into the inventory!

Magnolia "Pet Collection" 2009 is available for pre-order at 7kids College fun!! :-)
The Collection includes not only super cute Safari images also a cute Tilda for horse lovers, Tilda with bird cage, Edwin with Lizard (just one of my favorites lol) and Tilda holding a kitten

Gift card & Wedding card with Graduation Collection

Hello today i am able to show 2 cards. Both cards were made mostly with supplies provided by Magnolia Sweden. I have added some things that our sponsor for this weeks Cute Card Thursday provided for the Design Team to work with. Thank you also on this spot to the wonderful Deb who did not hesitate to sent me to the USA some goodies to play with!

For my first card i used the gift card holder. I have punched with my Martha Stewart punch a decorative border, folded it over and use the ribbon as a closure. In the inside i have simply stamped the Magnolia Graduation hat right on the paper. For a moment i considered to stamp on the other side a sentiment, but i had folded already the zick-zack and i was worried to mess it up.
The second card was inspired by the black card base that Magnolia sent to work with. I had 3 6x6 bases and this little one with 3 sheets of Designer Paper. For the little card i have worked just with my Cuttlebug embossing folder. I did not get the sitting Tilda from the Graduation Collection so i just used the glass vertical. Around the card i have added a clear acetate sheet folded in half provided by our sponsor and tied the ribbon so to the cards that it would hold in place. To make the ribbon ends curl a bit, i just held my heat gun for a moment to the organdy. The card was done.. but something was just missing :-) so i went with my little brush and some Shimmerz in "candle light" over my glass. This paint dries really fast so i just held the acetate a little bit open and within minutes the card could be closed.
check out the very new cute Basic Grey papers Lemonade and June bug :-)

Before i forget!!! Check out Vicky's fabulous blog anniversary candy on her blog Cuddly Cards!and the very lovely Ali's candy on Stamping Heaven !

Boy's Treasure Box

Hello a wonderful Wednesday to all of you! I have made this tin about 2 weeks ago. I was lucky because i was able to submit this project to this weeks challenge over on "Stamp with Fun"!Lucas not neccesarly loves to go shopping with me to the craft stores but once we are there he runs to the bead section, lays on his tummy and is under the shelfes to find his treasures lol. It was time to make him something special so he could keep them nice and save. I used for that a Stampin up Hodgepodge tin :-) He liked the tin BUT mommy did not sort his beads in the right order! First thing he did was getting it all right :-) THAN i got my praise for making him the tin. lol
Papers: My Minds Eye (dont remember the line.. i have used for the tin my last precious scraps i had)
Tools: Making Memories (Slice for letters)
