Iam very excited that Diana Crick from Magnolia-licous and Scor-Pal Products is sponsoring us this week over on the Friday Sketcher blog. With Magnolia stamps from the "Paper-Doll Collection" and some Basic Grey Magnets so you can dress your Tilda the way you like. Diana came up with this fun idea. How fun to craft a little take-along toy for a girl.

For the sketch for i created this week. I was very inspired to come up with a card / sketch to use with the stamps i got from Diana Crick (magnolia.us@shaw.com). Please feel free to add your focal point picture or your sentiment were ever you wish. We are curious what you will come up with, dont forget to link your card on the Friday Sketcher blog. If you are there.. dont forget to check out the other "Sassy Sketchers" creations for this week.

My friend Bernie left a comment on yestedays card about cutting out the cattails. :-) No, they are not THAT much fun to cut out but if you have the right tool it is possible with a decent amount of time and effort.
I was lucky that Michelle told me about it and actually sent me one of these wonderful knifes. I use it ALL the time! Michelle is not only DT member for stamp companies and challenge blogs! She is also in the Fiskars Nifty Fifty! If you do not have this tool.. you defenetly need it :-) I have seen at Target for about 6 Dollars.

Here is a pic the sketch:
I was yesterday awarded by wonderful ladies! Iam grateful that i have met all of you! Check out sweet Shawn's blog, Madge and also Lisa's blog and work! Thank you!

Summer Serenade

Hello and happy Wednesday... i am running late today... have a doctors appointment this morning and of course i totally slept in :-) always on day's like this.

This card was made for my dear friend Tina! :-) i really, really hope she likes this card. She told me a few weeks back that she needed a card for friends and pointed some out on my blog were Tilda with Edwin is and the card is romatic. I had this szene for a while in my head, i just needed that oak tree :-) lol. So when i got my new stamps from Diana Crick i got busy. Edwin is singing "Lap Tilda" a love song in a warm summer night. I choosed Lap Tilda, frist because i love her very much and also because she is a hint smaller than the Tilda's out of the Party Collection. This way i was able to add her to the tree stump and have her still under the tree on the right side. The Designer Paper is from Stampin up "le Jardin" and it is the perfect match. I did not want to go too busy with the pattern, since there is already so much going on, on the card. Everything is colored with Stampin up reinkers and Twinkeling H2O (sky and ground completely with the twinkeling)

Stamps: Party Collection 2008, Goblin collection and the oak tree iam not sure from which collection.
Stellina awarded me yesterday. Thank you so much!
And Nikki's daugher Zoe's has some fabulous Candy to offer on her blog.
iam off to take a shower :-) hugs to all of you!

Make A Wish

Hello and happy Tuesday... I just got an email from Caroline over at Rasberry Ribbons that the new "Loving Lilac" is up on the site now. You can see also all the cards and projects the Design Team Members made with the kit. There is also a sneek peek picture of the new kit that will be up for October, it is called "Fat and Funky". Really cool stuff :-) This is my last card i can show you using a sting of ribbon and one of the many embellishments that you will get in the kit. I kept the card fairly simple.

Edit to add: what do you think? would this Tilda not be a perfect image for a 4. of July card? the way she looks up in the sky i totally can see her watching some fireworks go off in the sky.
Stamps: Tilda (Summer Sea Collection 2008) butterfly is from a 2007 stamp line.
Sentiment: Amuse Artstamps
Ribbon and Embellishment: Rasberry Ribbons

Love Gives Us A Fairytale

Edit to add: This card is sold! Thank you so very much Christine

Happy Birthday Kelly!!! Have a wonderful day.

Usually i make my cards for the week on the weekend - but this time .. i do not know.. had not really any ideas. Getting kind of nerveous cause i dont even have a plan for CCT :-).

I made this card last week and played a little with my embossing powders. I used to use the powders a lot. All papers are Bazzill Bling papers (except the white) on top of the lilac paper i embossed the white swirls of Baroque Motifs and the Sentiment is embossed with Moon Glow Embossing powder. They are really pretty especially on very dark papers. The gorgeous flower was sent to me by my very talented friend Irina! She sent me so many different colors - they are all so pretty.

Stamps: Tilda (Summer Sea Collection 2008) .
Other: Baroque Motifs and Full of Life (love this set)
Embellishments: Swarovski Crystals, Stickles on Tildas wings

Thank you - I absolutely love it!

Hello and happy Saturday. Wow.. what a week, i was able to show 9 cards this week and iam also working on a tutorial for Pretty Pressings. I got an invitation from Beate Johns (SCS) to show this project on September 17. on the weekly tutorial section, but i have decided that i will pass this invite and just have the tutorial on my personal blog. The pictures on SCS have to be in a certain way and due to the size, language and scoring lines of the project it would be a struggle for me to get it all right. I hopefully have it all ready to show on Pretty Pressings next weekend. It is a wonderful gift idea and perfect for the upcomming holidays! I ordered especially for this project all the wonderful Magnolia stamps with from the "cherry-line" but in my head are already other ideas as well :-).

What do you think about this layout? Kind of different? :-) Pauline sent me one of the cherry stamps in my DT package and i wanted to use this image in the front of my card and in the inside. I made this card for my wonderful friend Carole.... she has been a really good friend to me in the past, she helped me so much... not only this :-) she moved "mountains" to get for me a very rare kit you can only purchase in Sweden for my upcomming birthday. I was trying to get this for myself and told her about it so thats why i know already what iam getting lol... Thank you so much Carole! For everything... love ya! xxxxx

EDIT: Ups, i just noticed this black dot on the side of Tildas head.. i dont know.. it is not on my card.. it must be something that got cought on the glitter when i took the picture. sorry about this.. it looks messy :-(

Here is how the decorated inside of the card looks like with lined envelope. I added to the cherries here some pink stickles - this does not show really well on the picture.

Close up picture... i added stickles to the outside of my pink panel and around the white circle were Tilda is sitting on to give the circle sort of an other layer.
Stamps: Magnolia (Cherry and Tilda) from the Heavenly Collection 2008
Sentiment: Stampin up retired Hostess set: Thanks a tonn

I wish i would own this set as well :-(

Cupcake anyone?

Edit to add: This card is sold. Thank you so very much Christine!
Happy Wednesday my friends. A little late this morning with my card... i finished last night and had to take pictures this morning of it. My husband took the boys out and i had time to use my Stampin up reinkers to color the new Magnolia Cupcake Tilda. She is soooooo cute :-) well.. they all are lol. The piece underneath the card is going to be the decorated inside of this card. I just have to adhere it. I just thought it is easier to take a picture of it. In addition i decorated a matching evelope to use with this card. Love it ... :-) especially ...lol.. my personal challenge..:-) no Prima flowers :-) and i like it. I added Stickles not only on Tildas wings, the top of the cupcake sparkles as well. Sewing is done in dark brown and a blue to match the flowers in the floral part of the Designer Paper.

Traveler Tilda

Hello happy Tuesday! This is the last card i made last week Tuesday for Magnolia to sent to Sweden. I think you can see that i was under pressure to have the cards mailed. Magnolia wanted to have cards back to take to a tradeshow and of course i wanted to hold my promise to have the 8 cards ready as soon i could. Well, i hope it is okay. I worked on this card with scraps i had left from a previous card. What i liked was that long piece of paper had this "sparkely" baroque pattern and it worked quite nicely for the trusty ol' sketch. lol

Stamps: Magnolia (Traveler Collection 2008) Stairs (previous collection)
Sentiment: Retiered "Party Punch" Level 1 Hostess Set
Paper and CS: SEI and SU Chololate Chip, Bashful Blue
Coloring: Copics and Copic Airbrush System
Embellishments: Flower and Ribbon from Magnolia Sweden

Forever Magnolia

Hello again, here is my Magnolia card for today ( have 2 cards for today :-). I used on this card one of my favorite layouts. I love it because if i just have one sheet of patterend paper i can still play it off and make it look special. No need to have all the time so many matching patterns going on. Check out this card.. using the same sketch (it is a card my heart hangs on)

This card was purchased, i thought i decorate the inside of the card for Diane too :-)

Stamps: Magnolia (Tilda is from the 2008 Lilac Collection) the litte Daisy flower matches perfectly but i do not know in which collection she can be found. Embellishments: Ribbons are from the Loving Lilac kit that Rasberry ribbon will sell in September,
Hat pin is from Stampin up, pearl brads recieved from Carole, some flowers recieved from Donalda, oval sentiment is a metal sticker from Making Memories
Copics used to color:
Maria made a super cute Magnolia card for her blog... if you have time check it out.
Take a peek of my Penny Black card for today :-)

School Fun

Hello, have you had a good weekend so far? I am so lucky.. .:-) I finally found the picture of the card i made for the Pretty Pressings sketch a couple of days ago. I thought i added the card into the Magnolia envelope without taking a picture of it :-) (iam getting oooooold) I just found the picture on the harddrive - perfect this way i do not have to publish a card using the same image as used on yesterday's card.
I used on Edwins vest Copic color G99 - it is the same color i used on Tilda's dress in "Winter Wonderland" and i think this is one of the most difficult colors to work with. For some reason i can not blend this color nice and it "streaks" more than the other colors. If i go over it to get the streaks out it get very very dark. I like the color but it is challenge for me to use this marker especially when i have to color small areas in.
Now for the winners of the Magnolia card kit. Random Integer Generator has picked:

6 CraftyB from the U.K.
123 Mada from the U.K
56 Andrea from Germany
31 Wendy Patross
149 Sharon from the UK

Timestamp: 2008-08-17 14:10:05 UTC (i counted several times and had my husband confirm)
Congratulations to all 5 of you!! Can you please contact me with your adress? You can claim your prize until Tuesday morning 8.00 am Michigan time. Thanks to everybody else, for posting here and on your personal blogs!! I appreciate it very much. I have to go now and buy my sons school supplies :-) love Claudia

Memories

Stamps: Magnolia Sweden (Traveler Tilda and luggage), some DP, Prima flowers lace and big brads can be purchased here

Gosh ladies.. you are so nice to me!! 41!!! comments on my card yesterday??? I can not believe it!! This makes me really happy, that you liked the card. I was barely online the last couple of days, cause the boys have a bad summer cold. My little one takes this always a bit harder than my older son. I have had barely sleep cause they wake up at night and cry. Most of you know how this is.
This card is one of the 8 cards i sent to Sweden. I used a piece of scrap paper (the one with the little roses) I had from a previous card and two Designer Papers (the flower and the script DP) recieved from Magnolia. I had a bit trouble to pick up the wonderful greens from the paper with my Copics but I think it is fine. In the USA i have not found ANY source yet were i can buy such beautiful lace ribbons Magnolia sents me - so i keep every tiny little piece of snip of it :-) I think the solution to use two pieces and in the middle the flower is not too obvious? The circular "Memories" stamp was found at Michaels in a acryl "Travel"themed stamp set (set i think of 10 or so) on clearance for 4.99 :-) If you liked that "Berry" label i used on my "Berry Cute" card the other day, you should go and pick some up. Michaels has discontinued these cause now all the Halloween items are on the shelfes and i had to go to two other stores to find 2 more packages. :-) I used this "Traveler Tilda" set to make this "vintage" style card but she looks so cute in a more contemporary style too - I would like to show you this version tomorrow. I hope it is okay if i show two days in a row a card using the same image??

remember tomorrow i will also pick 5 winners for some Magnolia stamps, DP prima flowers ect.

Second Grade

Here is my card for Cute Card Thursday's Challenge... the theme this week is: "Soft Furnishings" (must say... i had a bit trouble understanding what to use lol) english is so different than the US english.. so i went with the ribbons cause i do not have any fabrics at home. I just checked the Challenge blog and there is more info what you can use on your card.
The school chalk board was first colored with grey copics and than i embossed with white detail embossing powder "2 nd" (Stampin up set) "grade" is die cut from CS using Cuttlebug Alphabet Die. I really like this card especially since it is a boy card without using any flowers (my personal challenge :-) Oh.. all the elements are added to Bazzill Bling CS... love these at the moment very much and i think in this case it looks kind of like a wall .. just looks nice with the texture and the shimmer.
Sentiment: In my thoughts (congratulations), 2 nd (i need to check on this set)
DP: K& Company, SU Night of Navy
Embellishments: Hodgepodge, Epoxy sticker, SU ribbons
Tools: Word window puch and Cuttlebug Alphabet dies

I got yesterday 2 (yippeeeee) awards from Kelly (my daily dose blog :-) und a german blogging friend Ninchen! Thanks to both of you. I would like to mention now much i enjoy reading Heathers blog and Tienekes blog... (dont get me wrong.. no award... i just like their blogs!) maybe you want to check it out?

Have you seen my sketch i added yesterday to my posting???? I really would love to see what you create... maybe you can combine it with the Cute Card Thursday Challenge??? if not.. come and see what Murielle has made for the Friday Sketchers! Berry Cute

Oh my gosh... have you ordered your new Magnolia stamps yet? They went yesterday online on the Magnolia site! My friend Carole sent me a email right when the stamps were posted and i ordered a couple more of the cute "Berry Tildas" and some more of the accessories for the "School line". This card is made with the sitting "Cherry Tilda" Magnolia has sent to me. I really loved that beautiful blue polka dot paper i got and i was careful to cut it closely for my card yesterday so i will have some scraps to use on a second card. Here is the outcome:

DP/CS: Berry Paper: last years My Minds Eye Winter collection, SU Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla
Other: Button: Making Memories, Hemp and Pearstickers (sent to me by Carole), "From the Garden of" is a sticker from Martha Stewart... it is inteded to be used for home made jam jars :-), Rub-on: "Cute Berry" found at Joann's
sorry about the upload of my text and pictures.. if i add my picture the way i used to - you are unable to click on it and it will show big.

"He Said - She Said" New Magnolia Collection

Good morning.... my 3 card using the new line of Magnolia stamps is finished :-) This little girl is from the school collection (believe). Now if you click on the picture you notice that she as this little wrinkle between her eyebrows. That makes her sort of looking grumpy. I thought this image will look very nice with that "7 Gypsies" tag Magnolia sent me a while ago. After the card was finished i looked for Magnolias i want to add to the stamps Magnolia sent to me and i noticed that online the image does NOT have this wrinkle. So i simply stamped a few more of this style Tilda and than carefully cut with a sharp siccor this line of rubber off. It stamps now just the way she looks online.

Supplies and stamps: all can be found at Magnolia Sweden
(i did get that beautiful brown paper from my friend Kristine she told me that it is a Collage sheet)

I would like to add something today...
My wonderful husband made the new outfit for my blog. I told him that i want to change it soooo many times... he had no time to help me because of all the work we had at home. Than i contacted the lady my dear friend Michelle Oatmann recommended but she is busy for more than 6 months and it is quite pricy. After telling my husband how much it costs... :-) he sat down and worked on the outfit. He used all free brushes from the web. If any of you is interested - iam more than happy to share the sites.

I also had a few private emails when i will make some cards for STAMPAVIE! All what i can tell you is that mine and an other girls DT first package got lost in the mail. Iam in contact with Heidi and Stewart and they assured me that they will sent me the Sarah Kay stamps with the new line they release in the next mail to the US. I am myself very dissapointed - especially since i saw all the wonderful cards you all create with these stamps but i have to wait. :-)

Happy Toughts

Edit to add: Dear Maria C. from Canada could you please contact me again? i can not reply to your email. Thank you

How was your weekend so far? Iam late this morning with my card :-)
This is a card i made with mostly supplies Magnolia sent to me. All the CS and patterend papers are from Magnolia Sweden and of course the very new images from the travel line :-)

I stamped SU's Happy Thoughts circular sentiment with Craft White ink on the shimmery brown label but it does not show too well. Key is from Joann's, other Hardware is retired Stampin up Hodgepodge.

I make it short today.. thanks for visiting me:-)

oh.. my hubby made the new blog layout for me .. not quite done.. but i think it does look already quite nice.

It's the little things that matter

Hello my friends, sorry iam a bit late this morning... the challenge on the Friday Sketcher blog is already up. Both of my boys came this morning crawled into my bed and we snuggled. I can not tell how much i enjoy this "short" time... of course not long and they will hit or push each other :-) Aaaaany how :-) CHECK out Beas sketch for this weekend .. oh i love it! Broceliane spoke the other day with me about my second blog and i had such a bad feeling because i have not posted there in months. So I made this card and a second one called "Heartbreaker" inspired by Beas sketch for my other blog.

Hardware: Stampin up and Making Memories
Sentiment: Amuse art stamps (found at Archivers) PERFECT size to use with the SU hardware
DP: K& Company

Talking about my kids .. usually i do not show many private pictures.. :-) but i want to show you a picture of my oldest son Lucas. Carole sent us from Disney World a card and it is such a Hologramm card... he is totally fazinated about it and he twists and turns this card all the time. So i took a few shots capturing him by suprise but once he noticed he wanted me to take a picture of him posing :-) lol.. he looks sooo funny but cute :-) Thank you so much Carole for spoiling me so much. Iam so happy you are back and it is good to chat with you! Big hug! Thanks for swinging by today and have a wonderful weekend. Love Claudia

Just the 2 of us

Today is the new Cute Card Thursday Challenge up! Challenge number 22 (wow.. time flies fast) is: 'The two of us'.
I used the theme on my sentiment. The picture of my card does not show really well all the glitter i used to make it look like there is snow on the grass and the wall. Unfortunately i sent this card wasy and by the time i did the photoediting .. it was already gone :-( So i was not able to take a new one in different light. Oh well.. i certainly learned from that. In real the area were the grass ist azzels and sparkles like crazy and it looks white! You can barely notice the color of the grass. I could have used liquid applique to imitate the snow.. i think this is the better solution if you want to show off snow on a card for blogs or fotos. I just personally love glitter more and iam a bad photographer :-)

oh well.. here is a close up shot.. still trying i guess.. but it is not much better. You can tell how dissapointed iam.
CS: Chocolate Chip CS, Whisper White and Close to Cocoa
Accessories: Ribbon: Michaels, Stampin up: silver Hodgepodge, Stickles Glue on wings, Stampin up: Dazzeling Diamond Dust,Swarovski Chrystals, (Michaels), Hero Arts Pearl stickers (Archivers)
Sentiment: Computer
Tools: Sewing machine, Stampin up Circle Punch
Coloring: Copic Marker
Stamps: Magnolia: chilly Tilda DEC 07 Winter Christmas Collection 07,Wall: Tildas Mure ML08 from the Lilac 2008 Collection, Tiny Owl: Hero Arts A 4942

I have some other news to share with you!!!! :-)
Iam so happy to tell you that my very good friend Kristine has accepted my invitation to become a DTM or better a "Sassy Sketcher Girl" on the Friday Sketcher blog. Iam very excited about this.. i think her work is amazing and she will defenetly inspire me with her cardmaking style. Please come and join us tomorrow on the Friday Sketcher blog when Bea introduces her new sketch for the week.
I would love you to check out Claudia's fantastic work. I think most of the blogging friends know her for certain because she leaves on so many blogs the kindest and sweetes comments. Thank you Claudia!!!

Ticket For A Fun Time

huuurraa.... Bea and Carole are back from their vaccation! Boy, i was totally missing both of them :-) I was chatting with Carole yesterday about 1 hour on the phone :-) Iam so happy that i made so many good friends trough my blog!
I made this card using a sketch Bea created just before she went to Switzerland. I love her sketches so of course i had to give this one a try too. I love on her own card how she managed to incoperate one more patterend paper on the top - but i wanted to use her sketch for my Rasberry Ribbons DT card and if i used more DP the gorgeous polka dot ribbon would have not showed as well.
Here is a close up picture so you can see two of the patternend ribbons you will recieve in the new lilac Ribbon kit.
Sentiment: Hero Arts clear stamp
Ribbons: Rasberry Ribbon "Loving Lilacs"
Designer Paper: Basic Grey

Suuuuuurpise.... I have picked the next winner of some "Magnolia" blog candy :-)
if you are a subsriber to my blog and your email adress is: hfullerton@:::::::::: please contact at claudiaesrosa@hotmail.com using your "winning email adress" :-) you have won a "Magnolia cardmaking kit" sponsored by Pauline, Magnolia Sweden

This card is spoken for Diane from England. Thank you so much Diane! XXX :-)

Roses in Winter

Oh i have not watercolored for so long. I love the effect you can get with Distress inks or Stampin up reinkers- i like to use my Copics because they are just faster but some images i think they just look better with watercolors. The frame i used on my card was found at Archivers. It is hard to tell on the picture but is a shimmery paper - it looks really pretty.
Sentiment: Stampin up! "Roses in Winter" retiered
Coloring: Stampin up re-inker
Embellishments: Making Memories antique brads and Stampin up Mellow Moss grosgrain ribbon
Paper and frame: My Minds Eye, CS: Stampin up Mellow Moss, Very Vanilla
Tools: Ticket Corner punch

I was just vistiting some blogs and i saw some fabulous blog candy out there i would like to tell you about first my friend and former DT member of Magnolia and the Friday Sketchers Hilde is celebrating with candy and Scossie Jane from Australia has 10.000 hits to celebrate with fabulous stamps!

Sweet

Some of you may have seen this card already on the Rasberry Ribbon site. Due date for my DT cards was like the 28. of July. You can now order this fabulous new kit from the site. Oh these ribbons are sooo gorgeous. The colors work for fall, summer and winter cards. I hope i showed this with my cards i created for this month. I reall try hard to show this in my DT cards how versatile stamps or supplies can be.

For my card.. boy i was sooo close to color Tildas dress ( in a lovely pink but than when i picked the prima flowers i thought.. hmmm.. i could go with that purpule thats on the outer edge of the flower. Defenetly was hard at first but i like how it turned out. The blue paper on the card with the bubbles is kind of different.. the bubbles are made with a very soft flocking. :-) All the papers i used on this card can be found at Archivers.

Stamps: Summer Sea Collection
Sentiment: retired SU set.
Papers: from Archivers (do not remember the brand)

I have soooo many RAK cards i need to show you but i still need to foto edit them so instead of cards I would love you to check out Claudia's fantastic work. I think most of the blogging friends know her for certain because she leaves on so many blogs the kindest and sweetes comments. Thank you Claudia!!!

You Did It!

Edit to add: Thank you so very much Clotilde for purchasing this card. I will ship tomorrow to your adress.

Are you ready for the weekend? If you have some time to play with your stamps - maybe you want to join us over on the Friday Sketcher blog? Kimmie came up with a FABULOUS sketch - make sure to look at her personal blog too, cause she shows there on more than just one sample how fun and versatile this sketch is!!

As you can tell.. iam already totally into fall and winter card mood :-). Aaaahhh.. i need to go switch and use my summer stamps before it is too late.. i still have a few darling summer Alota and Magnolia stamps i have not used enough. The stores do not even have winter paper out yet.. this is a piece that was left from last year. It is Basic grey "Friddy Pudding" (or so :-)
Here is a close up shot of the card cause it was hard to get that sparkle of this card onto picture. i added Stickles to the scallops to make them sparkle and Dazzeling Diamond Dust is in the szenery. The pond were Tilda is skating on is filled with Paper Glaze to make it look like it is frozen. Love this kind of patterend skirt Tilda is wearing, i think Paris Tilda has the same one.
Now for the supplies
Stamps: Magnolia
DP and CS: Basic Grey and Stampin up
Ribbon: Stampin up: brown polytwill and rasberry ribbons for the icy blue (Paisley Kit)
Embellishments: Stampin up Hodgepodge (retiered), Dazzeling Diamond Dust, Paper Glaze, Stickles
