Magnolia New Christmas Release

Hi there.. I hope you have had a fantastic weekend.
Today i would love to show you an other cutie from the new just on the weekend released Christmas stamps.
This Tilda also fits perfectly in the circle nesties. This time i used the biggest of the circles and matted with a scallop circle. Haven’t used those in quite a long time. To fill in the all the white around the image, i masked Tilda and used the “Silent Night” Magnolia background stamp.

The snowflake is by Spellbinder – i cut the shape from Bazzill  and also sponged with Vintage Photo ink  I kept embellishments rather flat, so mailing costs for this card should be, fairly reasonable.  .

Sentiment i stamped in the inside:
May the joy and love
you feel this holdiay season
extend to every day
throughout the year.
both sentiments front and inside are by Stampin up, pattern paper is by K&Company
Thanks for looking – have a lovely day.

Love ~14 Feb ~ Love

Hello ladies… today i would love to show you MY personal favorite of the 4 cards i have made for Magnolia to choose from, to advertise for the new Valentines issue on backside of the magazine.

Remember..the stamps were not “my choice” the images were determined by Magnolia, what the company would love to feature from their line of stamps and papers.

The obvious choice was to combine Heartbreaker Edwin with with the chocolate box. For a brief moment i thought about a combination of the Puppoy with the box, but i had just a short time frame to finish the given task and post my cards to Sweden.

I like to keep flowers on Edwin cards less and rather play with hardware.

Loving Wishes

Luckily for today i can show you a card which i have made a few weeks back. Magnolia contacted me, and asked if i could make some Valentines cards, which the company can publish on the backside of the Christmas Issue – to advertise for the forthcoming Valentines issue. In fact the DT are already working on the Valentines issue. Crazy hmmmm??? :-) It’s not even Halloween yet lol.

Anyhow.. the cards should use a Edwin image, so i made 2 Edwin cards, 1 Tilda card and 1 card using the little puppy with rose, for Magnolia to pick from. Today’s card has not been chosen, so i am free to show this card on my blog today.

Video Coloring part 2 & new Magnolia Christmas release

Hi there, i am back with a second posting showing you the card i made for today’s challenge over on Cute Card Thursday. The theme is “Butterflies and Bugs” Well, honestly .. i got to make my Christmas cards.. i really did not waste AAAANYYYY more time.

Looking through my papers i found just the right solution in my Webster 6x6 pack. You can see in the close up shot – in the tree are lots of butterflies… AAAND surpriiise of course i finally wanted to use the new Tilda stamp i got. I know you have seen her before. She is in mini format included in the new kit – that’s just been shipped, to those who pre-ordered.

Back to the card. To add more dimension to the tree, i carefully added some glue and sprinkled ultrafine glitter on it – let dry – shake excess off, for the snow effect. The best glitter for that i find is Stampin up’s Dazzeling Diamond Dust. I use it since years and never get tiered of it.
Between the little branches i stuck a die cut piece of Magnolia’s Doohickey Dragonflies dies. Love this die!

I am also ready to show you the second part of the coloring video. We had to cut the video in parts. This one shows you how i color the dress – the face coloring is in my first posting for today.
