Missed

It all started with the ribbon :-)
I wanted to use a ribbon out of the Rasberry ribbon August kit and from there i went through my Designer Paper. I always loved this DP i do not remember if it is Basic Grey cause i made already many cards arround Feburary with these and there was no print anymore on the backside. I was happy to see that i just had enough to use it for this layout. Farm Tilda is just so darling and she was the perfect fit for this card.

See the cute heart shaped buttons? they are also from Rasberry Ribbons. The little tin (Little Tin of Love) contains many heart shaped buttons in lots of colors - i really love this one a lot.

I totally forgot to tell you about Hannes blog candy!!!! Oh you have to check it out. She is giving away wonderful Prima flowers and much more. You should not only go to Hannes blog because of the candy - check out her artwork.. it is beautiful.

This cute Magnolia Tilda
For today i wanted to show you a card my friend Carole sent me with these flowers i used on my card for today. I will do this tomorrow... I wanted to mention just a few of my favorite blogs and blogging friends today, who also have been so kind and very helpful to me. If you have not been there today ... maybe you can take a minute and click on the link i added to the names?? Thank you!!!
Nikki and her very talented daughter Zoe
sorry this mail is getting longer and longer :-) but guess what - the lady who won the new Magnolia stamp yesterday did not claim it... soooooo i will pick an other one tomorrow for the stamp with some embellies :-)

All Boy

My card for today is a card for Rasberry Ribbons DT. You see how nice these ribbons of this kit work for summer and winter cards. I used the large ric rak ribbon thats included as "waves" and added it to the bottom of my blue paper. I used one of the green satin ribbons as embellishment on my focal point image and adhered them with brads and the buttons are also out of the kit. I do not really like to use on each card Prima flowers especially not on boy cards.
Stamps: Sailor Edwin (Summer Sea Collection 2008)Embellishments: all from the August Rasberry Ribbon kit (Ribbons and buttons)
Sentiment: My Minds Eye rub-on

The RAK card i wanted to show off today is a card i got from Crissy :-) it is wonderful. I was unable to capture on the photo the gorgeous colors this card has. Thank you so much Cristina for sending me this wonderful card of yours.
Now i have to get ready for the long drive back to Michigan. Take care and have wonderful Sunday.

Cherish

Today's card is made with all scrap paper from a previous card. Infact.. love this layout so much because i can use so much paper i had previously cut - that i made 2 more cards (insert rolling eyes here) The layers are all sewed. I added Dazzeling Diamond Dust around the Vanilla oval, just to give it a nice touch because it is not sponged.
Ribbons: Blue Grosgrain, vanilla sheer organdy ribbon and green ribbon are from the Rhasberry Ribbon kit July
Swirls can be found at Debbies Die Cuts
Sentiment: Computer generated
Paper: Daisy D's, Vanilla, Wild Wasabi, Ruby Red
green bling stones: Heidi Swapp

Best Wishes

Finally i can show you my second Hula Tilda... This card was made already on Saturday.. i just had the hardest time to take a picture of this card. I dont know.. iam quite unhappy with the light recently.
This is also a card for Rhasberry Ribbons. I did NOT use two ribbons because i just wanted to show off this gorgeous pattern of this ribbon string. You will recieve the oval button in the kit. The one i used to attach my sentiment - take a look at the second pic. The leaf of the DP (left side) is kind off glossy and has some glitter to it. This inspired me to layer over my entire green paper this big plastic leaf and add stickles to the edges to make it stand out a bit more against the green background. This leaf is cut out with a die, i can use for fee at my local Scrapbook store. You just buy the plastic sheets and you can use all the dies they have there. It looks kind of like a hudge Wizzard machine.
Stampin up: Cocolate Chip CS, DCWV Designer Paper, Stampin up: Whisper White CS, Tempting Turquoise
Ribbon and Button: Rasberry Ribbons July Kit, Bads: Making Memories, Prima Marketing Flowers and hemp string, Stickles Glue on wings, leaf and scallops, “Acucut” plastic leaf die, Stampin up: Pretties Kit “Pearls”
Tools: Sewing machine, Nestabilities oval large, Nestabilities ribbon slider die
Coloring: Copics,
Stamp: Magnolia “Hawaii Tilda”, SS 08, Sentiment: Stampin up Short and Sweet 109369
I also would like to show you something what my husband made for me while i was sick. I really thought i have kidney stones :-( he used the base of an broken spice rack as base so i can turn the ribbon holder. I love it :-) See that empty space in the middle ... i guess i can not buy more ribbon spools :-(

Warm Wishes

This is the card i worked with Heidi on Saturday :-) this was so much fun. She actually helped me with picking the right colors. I had such a hard time to decide what red would look nice to the flower. The task for us Rasberry Ribbon girls is to use on our cards at least 2 ribbons, so you can see them before you purchase the kit. I would love to link you here on the blog all the fabulous Designers for "Rhasberry Ribbons" but i can not cause there is no link for me provided on the site to their personal blogs. I wish i could so you could have a chance to see what they actually come up with at the moment with the kits. One faboulous card maker who i met online pretty much at the beginning when i started blogging is Terri B. she is also in the DT and her cards are gorgeous and stylewise different than mine. I love, love her work. Check it out!

Designer Paper: K&Company
Stamps: Magnolia Apple pie Tilda, Tildas Table (all from the Party Collection) Apples and sentiment: Stampin up (retiered set Hostess set)
Embellishments: ribbons and buttons are July Rhasberry Ribbon Kit,
Brads: Making Memories

Bummer... Ismaki has summer break :-( gosh.. i hope Bea creates some sketches for her personal blog so work with during the break :-) hint, hint :-)

Have a fabulous summer day.

Thanksgiving

I make it short today - i got sick but i did not want to miss showing you a card i really, really like :-) The card uses the stamp that the lucky winner of my blog candy will get. I have this stamp myself and she is one of my favorite Magnolia images.I used on my card a stamp i got at Diana's Magnolia-licous store.
My husband and i went both through the lists and we can tell you that Debbie is the lucky winner of my blog candy. Dear Debbie, congratulations! Please contact me so we can talk about the images you like and your mailing adress. Thanks to everybody, who participated. But remember you all have a new chance to win Magnolia stamps. I will draw from now on randomly using my feedblitz subscriber list winners for a few new Magnolia stamps, Magnolia Sweden has kindly sponsored. It will be randomly.

Just the Thanksgiving card is for sale - not the candy of course :-)

Why?

Wow.. what a weekend :-) yesterday Heidi was here from 2 pm til almost 0:00 pm.. guess what .. i got only one card done laugh.. oh my gosh.. i had such a good time .. we were just chatting and chatting.
I made this card with my new Rasberry Ribbon kit which will be availabe next month for purchase. I it is called "Paisley Kit" In the kit will be included all the paisley elements you see on my card and both ribbons i used. I altered my paisleys a little bit - i used Timber Brown Stazon to distress them and on the bigger paisley i punched the holes out with my Crop a Dile.

The cattails were sent to me by my dear friend Carole. I cut part of them out so i was able to have Edwin sit behind the cattails.

Now again for the blog candy... i will tell tomorrow who the winner is. Some of you noticed that Magnolia, Sweden has sent to the Design Team Members a generous amount of stamps to give away as a blog candy.

I have decided not give the stamps away as one big blog candy.. i rather want many of you have a chance to get new stamps. What i will do is... from all my subscribers - thanks for signing up due to my last blog candy raffle... i will pick randomly a winner for a new stamp. No need for you to advertise my candy on your blog, you do not need to post on anything or make a card and upload it somewhere.. no work for you at all :-)
I will contact the winners via email - if you get back to me within 24 hours you won a new Magnolia stamp - if not i will pick a new girl from my subscriber list. This way everybody has the same chance no matter if you are a blogger or just a reader.

Lets have fun and i will show the stamp that was won on the day i publish the winner.

Tropical

A couple of days ago i got my new Magnolia stamps i ordered in Sweden.. oh boy it was so hard not to show this card :-) I got Hawaii Tilda and Apple Pie Tilda :-) I will play with her today with Heidi. On this card i used a lot of the accessory stamp that come with this motiv.. on tomorrows card i want to show you how cute she looks even if you do not get all these extra stamps. I would have used the two different sizes off the flowers - but I got accedently from Magnolia 2x the same size flower.

I will give one of the Hybiscus flowers (on EZ mount) away on my upcomming blog candy.
The light this morning was not really good.. iam not happy how these pictures turned out cause the colors of the card are realy pretty. oh well... but maybe you can see on this close up... stickles is used on her wings and a tiny dot inside each flower, the stich i used on the main image is a double zig-zag stich. I really like this one more than just the regular one.
Stamps: Magnolia Hawaii (Summer 2008 Party Collection)
Ribbon: May Arts (pricy but ooooh it was so worth it :-)

My friend Carole sent me this darling card. Iam so bummed she is leaving for vaccation :-( i will miss our conversations Carole :-) Have fun and a save trip.

More yummy candy is online today and can be found on my friend Kristine's blog.. check it out here. She is giving a very rare stamp away :-)

Baby card

So this is my card i made for today. I do not know how many pictures i took of this card.. iam not happy with the light i got this morning. The picture really does not show well how pretty the colors are. I used the patterend paper to work sort of as "sentiment" but than the card looked so empty but i also did not want to add too many flowers. So this clear "Heidi Swapp" flower underneath the yellow flower lets you still read all the words without overpowering the layout. Simple sewing on all layers.

oh and if you wonder how i "shortened" the swing so i can fit it into the circle??? i stamped the swing twice. Once on the circle using a post-it note to cover the bottom and a second time on an other piece of paper and than i cut it out and added it to the circle. Tingla is on pop-up dots to give the card dimension.
Paper: Celery Green, Pretty in Pink, Nanna Nursery pack -Girl-
Ribbon: Rasberry Ribbons
Eyelet: Making Memories
Coloring: Copics

Last night i browsed some blog' s and i saw that Debbie has some super sweet blog candy to offer. So do not forget to check Deb's blog candy (Crafty cards i higgins)!

Baby Girl Doorhanger

Hello.... ususally i do not talk so much about the weather but seriously this year the changes in Michigan are driving me NUTS. So many thunderstorms... my friend Heidi was already twice without power for more than a week.. -can you imagine??? And today it is sooo muggy and cloudy it is not nice.

This doorhanger is quite simple.. one side says "Playtime" and one says "Naptime". I was able to use scraps from my stash. I think this one is my favorite :-)

Close up

and the "Naptime" side

Okay hahaha.. by now you know that Bea and i became very good friends?? She sent me this wonderful card. She made this card for an Ismaki Sketch. Thank you so much Bea for sending me this gorgeous card. I really dont know how you can do this. Laugh..iam having a hard time part of my cards and you spoil me all the time with your gorgeous creations. Love ya! oh and she made the other day a very very adorable baby boy card. check it out

Clubbing??

I must say i really had fun making this card :-) I gave the card the sentiment "Party Time" but to be honest.. i sort of wanted to go really "silly" can add "... wanna go clubbing?" But i guess i am getting too old for clubbing anyways. :-) I first determined were my long patterned panel would need to go. Taped it loosely onto the red paper and stamped than the lanterns using the stamp-positioner over both panels. Than i took the long panel off and layered it with a contrasting paper and stiched to all layers. I stamped the lantern line again, colored everything in and cut only the lanterns out, being careful to pick colors to the right lantern to stand out against the yellow DP. Two brads from the Hodgepodge set were used to hold the line up.
I need to give credit to my fabulous DT friend Heidi who came up with this fun sketch for the Friday Sketcher blog. Iam sure she can inspire you for this week as well - check it out we have a fabulous prize for this week up for grasp.

Some of you have probably have heard that Helene from Alota has picked a few new stampers to be in the Design Team with Susan, Biggan and myself. One of the new girls is Frances - I was not surprised that Helene picked Frances - i know her from SCS. Her creations do always stand out and invite to look at them. Her nickname on SCS is Stamping Owl. She does make really cute cards and she likes the cute style too. Iam thrilled to be with her in the Team! There will be also a few more new DT Members ... but i can not say more at this time :-)

Oh, my goodness and before i forgorget an other day to tell you about it... have you checked out Ila's blog candy? she is giving some stamps from the very new High Hopes release away.

Doorhanger Boys Room

This weeks challenge on Cute Card Thurstday for you is to make a card or a project for a child. I had my doorhangers from Debbies Die Cuts already before i left to Ottawa and i so badly wanted to make one. taaataaaa.. here is my first doorhanger ever :-) I used all the stamps i ordered from Diana Crick. One side is the friendly "come in" side and for the "keep out" side i thougth the wall and punker Ediwn is just so cool :-)

The paper is from Imaginice this paper has already several stripes of different patterns - so i did not had to layer and match my papers together. This made the entire process so easy and fast. These doorhangers are so fun and easy to make.

Stamps: Magnolia in Sweden here Magnolia. If you order in Sweden you can find the stamps in the Shabby Chic collection
Doorhanger: Debbies Die Cuts
Paper/ Embellishments: Imaginice, Blue Bayou ribbon, Computer for Sentiment, Blue Bayou Paper and Wild Wasabi
Coloring: Copics

I am getting really spoiled girls :-) :-) look what i got in my mailbox.... my DT friend Murmur from France send me this super cute Magnolia card. I love it .. it is sitting on my kitchen counter to look at. If you like to see more of Murmurs work.. check in tomorrow to the Friday Sketcher Blog. She designs cards for the blog and her new creation is stunning.

Roses in Winter

Hello all, today i will show you the card i have made for this weeks Friday Sketcher blog :-) It would have been my week to provide a sketch, but after we saw how similar my sketch was compared to Ismaki's sketch, is we decided to switch weeks. So this week Heidi will be host and next week hopefully i come up with something new.

Not done for today.... :-) i want to show you a card i got from my STAMPAVIE Team Member and friend Michelle! I am sure you know her blog "Donkey Smiles", right??? Her cards are simply wonderful - iam amazed her artwork! she has almost every day two totally different cards on her blog to show. You can find tons of inspiration and layout ideas on her site. Check out the cute donkeys too :-)

It was delicious

Good morning... I made this card using this weeks fun ISMAKI sketch. For this card i turned the sketch a bit. Once i decided on the sentiment i had to laugh.. funny how well it goes with my "De-liocus" blog candy iam offering. So hei.. iam so free and post a little reminder about the blog candy i have up for you to win. for this card i stamped a matching envelope with strawberrries on it. I just thought this card is so whimsical it would be nice to have this.

If you like the swirls i used on this card.. you can order these at Debbies Die Cuts. I have used the swirls on many of my cards. They are fabulous for a nice whimsical touch. They do have a nice size - different than the ones you can cut with other brands dies.

Sentiment: "Thanks a ton" Stampin up Hostess gift

Relax

Here is a quick card for today. My little one has a bad fever. He got sick on July 4. .. and it is my fault :-( it totally forgot a sweater to take with us and it got really cold.

I do not have that nice big cattail stamp that is in the Summer Sea collection :-( but i had some DP i could sort of make work. However... what should i say .. i just ordered that stamp - what can you do? It's an addiction lol. I added to the leaves some stickles and sewed 2 times arround the card to give it more interest and texture. Love, love, love the new ribbon slot punch from Martha Stewart - i used it already quite often. The sentiment is a stamp found at Archivers.
Thanks for swinging by today. Have a wonderful day :-)
Love Claudia

Thinking of you

Hoooooray... i got some stamped images of this little Tilda from my friend Donalda. She is always spoiling and helping me out if iam low on CS or if it is just a image i want stamped!!! Check out her blog.. her cards are very cute - she was even published with two of her creations ont he Elizabeth Bell site!

Whe i cut the half circle i was not able to add a nice border with a contrasting piece of CS so i gave this really bight white paper some color with my Copic airbrush system. In the middle i sprayed two different colors of green (Dim Green and the other i can not remember at the moment) and to the outer edge i used R81 a shade pink. The picture does not take really justice how nice this card is. I really love it.

Stamps: Magnolia Tilda sitting on fence Summer Sea Collection 2008
Paper and CS: Imaginice and rose Bazzill basics, Stampin up Whisper White
Embellishements: Buttons: Making Memories, Prima Flowers: Strawberry Collection, Ribbon: Martha Stewart, Stickles

De-licous candy

Time for a little blog candy - wow... almost 170.000 hits. Thank you so much!

It took me a while to get this ready... you will see why :-)

First the main candy is a brand new Magnolia stamp... perfect for fall. I don't know about you but i did start already with fall cards. The litte book is handmade and covered with Designer Paper from Stampin up it has 20 clear plastic sleeves (if you do not like to use it for your images.. the size is perfect for USA size cards to store). In these plastic sleeves you will get 200 stamped images - one image per quarter sheet. All images are A-quality stamped and i used the same paper i work with for my cards. The first 100 images are already stamped and are inside the book - i left the other sleeves empty so you can choose what ever image you like from my stamp collection. I will ship of course internationally.

Blog candy includes:

handmade book filled with 200 stamped images (some you can choose)

before i forget.. finally i remembered to take a picture of the craft nook we are working on. This is the custom made table that my husband makes for me for my upcomming 40. :-( birthday. on the left hand side is such a little nook.. for this nook we got the Ikea cabinets and on the right hand side will be 4 cabinets hung on the wall. My husband will add into the cabinets such round lamps to shine on the table so i will have better light. It is not big.. i know many of you have seen these gorgeous rooms many have in their big homes in the USA i have had already many emails assuming that my space will be that big :-) No it is not but for me this will do and iam very happy about it - no more working on the dining room table and cleaning up after every single thing i make.
