Stationary

Thank you for swinging by today. The little gift set i show today, was actually made for Magnolia Ink magazine. Make sure to secure your issue :-) i know the DT went over the top with their creations for the launch of the Magnolia magazine. Since i have used on my project the beautiful new Shimmerz Fall paints and Spritz, i have decided to hold this project back and show it today. Make sure to check out Shimmerz blog because you can win the entire set of the new colors!
I have purchased the little wood container at Michaels and painted it with Distress Crackle Paint. Once the paint was completely dried (speeded process up with heat gun) i have added Prima Marketing Felt border and sprayed over the entire project Shimmerz Treasured hymn.
The shimmer sits nicely in the cracks and gives the felt a wonderful look. while the spray is drying i have painted all my flowers with several paints.. mixed Antique Lace with Red Wagon to create interest in the center of flowers. Leaves were punched out with Martha Stewart (Twig punch) and just quickly dipped into Mossy Stone paint. Set aside and let dry. Than i started to color my images with Copic Sketch markers and cut the cute little girls out

After everything was completely dried i have assembled my flowers and added them to the card and the wooden purse. The purse can be filled with little gifts like some markers for a crafting friend or even just some yummy candies. I have made a little matching card, sized just right to fit nicely into the purse.

A Single Strawberry

Hello, thank you for visiting me today. The other day i have tired to organize my papers.. what a mess... all the little scraps i can simply not toss in the trash....i need SOMETHING to hold them. I have made this card with some of the papers that had nothing matching from the same paper line. This card was made with bottom to top with Basic Grey, Making Memories and Cosmo Cricket papers. buuhuu.. my last scrap of that yummy strawberry paper is gone. I have spritzed the card with Shimmerz Babies breath - not sure if it shows on the picture to give it that hopefully vintage look.

Stamps: Magnolia "Strawberry" can be found in the "Lazy Days of Summer Collection"
directly with Magnolia in Sweden

Home Sweet Home

Not sure if i went a little overboard with all my flowers :-) i simply loved the romantic look of the papers and Tilda sitting on that lace board. My first plan was to add Tilda with Lolli on to the shelf and stamp "Home Sweet Home" in it, but sadly she was facing towards the frame and it just did not look "right". However iam happy how "Jam Tilda" looks with the shelf too
Stamps can be found at Magnolia, Sweden
Stamps: "Jam Tilda" from the Yummy for your Tummy Collection shelf and cross stitch "Sweet Home" can be found in the Kitchen 2008 Collection the sentiment comes also with a tiny heart that can be stamped inside the frame
Papers: Basic Grey Porcelain, Stampin up
Embellishments: Prima Marketing roses, Robins Nest, Stampin up Ribbons and Lace was a gift

Back To School - Gift Set

STAMPS: Magnolia, Sweden Tilda from the School/Travel Collection 2008!
i "modify" the shape and add "a little box" so it could be used to hold some teacher gifts like pencils, scissors or even some crayons for a girl set.

Here is a close up shot of the bottom so you can see the "box". Since i had to add a "lip" in the back of the card i covered the back also with DP and personalized it. The matching card is quite small only 5.25 x 5.25, so it could be tucked into the box.

Sentiment "Stampin up" and computer
Papers: Stampin up (DP is retired)
Embellishement:
Stickles (on the scallops and inside the roses), Prima Marketing (Mulberry roses), Stampin up (all hardware, all ribbons), Pearl stickers
Tools: Fiskars Apron border punch, Stampin up scalloped border punch

Thank you for visiting me today i appreciate your time.
