Where There Is Love ... There Is Life

Hello good morning :-) or happy Saturday. I think my card today looks really simple but boy this card took me a long, long time to make! First i had to find the right sentiment that's long and narrow so the words AND Tilda would fit. First i masked the frame and stamped Tilda to the left - i masked both images. Than i had to divide the sentiment into 2 sections, one part in the top and one at the bottom and stamped that inside the frame. I masked Tilda and airbrushed the frame in, than i colored the berries, leaves and Tilda. Stamped than Tilda a second time and colored her in and added her with pop up dots to the image.

It was fun to make but boy.. to stamp that sentiment straight and in place surely cost me a lot of patience :-) and white papers lol..
For the inside i must say i just wanted to finish the card. I did not airbrush the frame anymore but i did take care that the berries with leaves and ladybug are colored nicely in.
This card is for a very wonderful person i have met online :-)
Papers: Autum Leaves and Stampin up
Embellishments: Martha Stewart pearl stickers, Stampin up grosgrain, Making Memories button, Scrappers Floss
Sketch for this card was provided by my friend Sharon!

Happy Anniversary Friday Sketchers

Hello, thank you for visting me today. This week marks the first year anniversary of the Friday Sketcher Challenge blog and there will be a number of prizes to be won. Each DT member will send to a random winner the card we each have made this week as well as a RAK...so please come join us!! This is the RAK that I will be sending some lucky person along with my card made for the Friday Sketcher blog my dear friend Carole provided a wonderful sketch to follow. So come on over and join us for all the fun and challenge and be sure to visit the other DT's blogs and you may get some sneak peeks of their RAKs/surprises also! Just a little note what i have done with my main image. For a fast look to pep up my focal point image i have stamped the Magnolia love letter onto white paper with Memento ink. I mixed on a piece of scrap paper Shimmerz paints in Caramel and Candle light and just brushed the paint over the entire image. It does look really elegant and it was really easy and effortless to make.
You can see all the cards made for the Friday sketcher blog and the RAK's on our Sassy Sketchers Carole, Bea, Heidi, and Jaqueline. I would also use the opportunity to tell you who our new new Sassy girls are:

This card is sold to Laurie W. Thank you so much Laurie!!

Okay.. i totally forgot about this card lol.. i better make sure to publish it cause in a few days it really is winter. Michigan got really cold - we had already snow flurries here. I think this was my last fall card.. I am ready for Spring stuff.. funny... since i make cards - iam "off" with seasons lol.. i started in July with Christmas cards lol - and i still don't have as many as i need.

It has been so long since i used a Edwin on my cards he is definitely a cutie! He is fun to color in and so is the oak leaf wreath. I used on that several rust, Orange and brown colors of my Copics. See the 2 ribbons??? Those are from the new Raspberry Ribbon kit! Inside the kit you will find lots of brown ribbons and golden tones.. definitely the colors i love to work with. If you have never ordered a kit from Raspberry Ribbons i would like recommend this one! I am sure you will love it.

Tilda with Dalecarlia Horse

Sorry iam late today :-) My sons 5. birthday party is today and we are getting ready...

Today's card is made with one of the new Magnolia Autumn/Halloween stamps 2008. Can you imagine how i bounced when i saw the images and this Tilda Bea sent to me from Stempel Mekka?? I can not believe it... she shipped on Monday and i had it yesterday in my mailbox. I think this Tilda works nicely also with fresh colors alto she is in the Autumn release. So i picked up some of my Basic Grey Sugared DP and worked with my Rasberry Ribbon kit. I knew exactly that i wanted to use my new sentiment stamp Bea sent me for my birthday. wow.. thank you so much Bea :-) I really like how this turned out. It was really fast (expect waiting time for the craft ink to dry) The layout of this card is really nice.. i have made a second card i used this sketch as well- i think i can show this card on Monday.
Other: wonderful pearl stickers sent to me by Carole , Stampin up Hodgepodge hardware
CS: Pretty in pink, Tempting Turquoise, Basic Grey 6x6x pack

Don't forget to visit Carole's blog she is has a fabulous blog candy to offer!!! While you are there check out her cards she is a DT for Alota and the Friday Sketcher blog. Her work is wonderful and inspirational.. you will not be disappointed!!!
