Happy Halloween

Hi, here as promised my second card for today. :-) i wanted to make one last Halloween card before it is over :-) Those stamps are so cute - even for next year i thought they will be always fun to use.
The card was made very late last night and for a moment i was thinking to take a picture of the back of the black panel :-) it looks just crazy :-) all the sewing.... was some work but it looks really great in real. Unfortunately the picture does not look so nice :-) cause it was so late

Thank you

i added some bling to my card lol :-)

Hi, ready for the next challenge over on the Friday Sketcher blog ??? :-)
Well as you know you could combine the Cute Card Challenge with the fab sketch Jaqueline created for us. Wow... at first i was totally intimidated by it. I had never used a triangle on my card before. But once i cut the paper and i layered it on my card - i was like WOW THAT looks really good and interesting! No wonder Jaquelines cards are on many magazines published!!! So please check out her card and the other Designers work for this week - oh and btw.. of course we have again a great prize for challenge week #26!

Cheers to you

Hi how are you today? Are you getting ready for the weekend? Please take a look at this weeks challenge on the Cute Card Thursday blog. The challenge is called "Cheers" and you can create anything "drink related" and submit it to the blog.. and enter to win a prize.
. The challenge for me was more "what kind of paper" should i use - i pretty much have only girly papers. I found this sheet in my Basic Grey Ambrosia paper stack but all the other sheets had some sort of orange in them and that did not work. So i came up with this layout where i just needed one sheet of patterend paper. (the "plain" grey is also from the stack and as you know those have some sort of "smudges" and so in them) I used my new Martha Stewart punches to give the card the little extra. You can see one punch "in action" on the front panel and my second border punch was used to create a interesting "masculine" frame in the inside of the card. Okay enough talked ... to finish the card i added some Paper glaze to the glasses and Stickles to the wings.
Stamp: "Party Edwin"
Coloring: Copics
Ink: Versafine, Adiorndack Ranger
Embellishments: Stampin up Silver Hardware .. love the big brads with the stars on it :-), Stickles, Paper Glaze
PS. i think i forgot to publish the card i was talking about yesterday on my second blog :-) the kids totally distraced me. It is up now.

have a cozy Christmas

Today i would love to show you a card that i custom made for Jodi. Please swing over to her blog.. and check it out. She makes herself the cutest cards and is also a Stampin up Demonstrator!!!! I really had to ask her if she is serious that i should make her cards lol :-) Thank you so much Jodi!!!
Jodi wanted me to make two cards one for herself.. a summery scene card - which you can see on my second blog. I used a Alota stamp and a girl with a bike to create the scene. For the second card Jodi asked for a Christmas card for her nice and to use her favorite stamp Tilda giggling. I suggested to use the fireplace with her to create the cozy feeling for Christmas. I thought the bright colors from the SU paper are beautiful for a young girls card.

on the envelope i used the big Christmas box stamp.
Inside of the card i stamped Magnolia pile of presents and the sentiment is by Amuse Art stamps
Coloring: Copic Sketch
Supplies as ribbon and Paper: all Stampin up
other: Making Memories and Prima Marketing

Altered Purse for Magnolia

okay.. can you believe it :-) This project was accepted to be published in a magazine and totally forgot to sent the data sheet to the requested time in. Gosh..after the hospital the kids got sick and after that me.. (as usual) Iam really upset with myself!!

Removed for publishing
This purse was sent to me with the Christmas stamps from Magnolia. At first i tried to cover the bag with Designer paper but all the metal hinges made the job impossible. I would have not looked good. So i went to the craft store looking for stenciling or spray paint. NOTHING.. i got some Distress Ink in the hope that i could cover the white papmache with that and add than some rub-ons on. That did not work either. You don't want to know how the bag looked at that point. I was frustrated. My last chance was than the STAZON Timber Brown ink pad :-) (since i did not want to create such a super even surface that a spray paint would create). I rubbed the ink right with the ink pad to the bag and worked with kitchen towel to create the "texture". After that the job was a breeze.

All DP's you see on that project are tiny scraps i kept from Magnolia. Even the tag is from Sweden. All what i did is some sponging and adding rub-ons plus the 3-D Elements i found those at Michaels in the K& Company Section. I marked the spots where the brads would go with my SU piercing template so they are evenly spaced. This purse is already in Sweden and can be seen in the Magnolia store in Boras.

Frosty Greetings

Hi there :-) today is Friday Sketcher Time and Bea provided a absolutely wonderful sketch for this week to follow. Love it!
Dig out your old Creative Memories Templates and get started :-) or just make some smaller cards using your Nestabilities. Those little cards are prefect to tuck on a present and they are fast :-) Well.. have i told you that we have a wonderful sponsor for this week? Check out Gina K Designs.. she has adorable cute stamps in her store.

I have picked the snowman first he is cute of course :-) and there was not much to color in (cut my time a lot shorter on the craft table) aaaaand because i can show you some of the things you will receive in the new Rasberry Ribbon kit. From the kit i used the white sheer organdy ribbon and those shimmery fabric snowflakes. They really looked nice with the DP.

Paper: Heidi Grace, white, Celery and Bazzill textured
Embellies: new Rasberry Ribbon "white" kit and Stickles

It has been raining all day and the lighting is not very nice.. the colors look all washed out :-(

If you like.. i have handdrawn a sketch for this card. (iam sooo bad with the computer programms) i would love to see what you come up with. Maybe you want to combine it with this weeks Cute Card Thursday Challenge? You will have to use "Buttons and Bows" on your card :-)

God Jul II

Hello all :-)
thank you so much for all your comments the last week and a half. My surgery was successful but the recovery is slower than expected because while they had me open the doctor found something else and he fixed that in the same surgery. Iam glad - cause otherwise i would have needed to go back in soon again. My in laws are still here helping me with my children and the house. Iam so lucky cause my little one got a bad fever 40c or 101f - we took him to the doctor and it seams that he got a virus - i assume something he touched while i was in the hospital.
Tonight my hubby will disconnect the computer cause they work on something in the house.

My posting for today shows a part of my DT work i had to sent in to Magnolia. The card is the same size as the one from yesterday. You can tell.. there was not much space to work with. After i cut the piece of Magnolia's DP - i simply could not resist :-) i used the Tilda with the backing roll :-) Doesn't she work nice for the holidays too? In my family Christmas backing is part of a tradition for many years. I will soon start that and decorate my clear plastic bags with her. The little red envelope Magnolia sent was simply stamped with a snowflake stamp my package included and decorated with embellies i also got.
Stamps: Magnolia Tilda with backing roll
As promised i want to start sending some of the new Holiday Magnolia's out to a few readers who were so sweet to keep coming to my blog and also drop me a line
Monday: Lizzie from Lizzies Passions
Tuesday: Heather from Enchanted Stamping
Wednesday: Claudia from stempelkram
Thursday: Rach from Papercrafts Bryach
Friday: Scraping Peg from Ribbonrie
Saturday: Sandy from Stempelchaotin
Sunday: Alison from Crafting up a storm
Thanks to all of you for visiting me and all your wonderful comments :-) for the winners... please sent me a email with your home address with the name of the ink you prefer your images to be stamped. I do have STAZON and ink to use with Copics. If i do not get immediately back to you please forgive it is because i can not go online and iam still most of the day in bed.

It's a party

Today i would love to show you one of my "projects" that i recieved from Magnolia to be finished. I recieved this little box and a handbag to alter. Must say ... i stared first with the handbag because it was the most scary thing :-) aaanyhow... :-) First i started with the little box, i thought about Chocolate (think often about Chocolate :-) cause it would look nice as a party favor box to add beside the plates for the guests. From the small business card i had in my DT package, i made the matching name cards. Stamps: Tilda on name card (Christmas 2008 Collection)
Other: Stampin up Prints DP, Hodgepodge and ribbons
Candy Canes Stickles on ornament, coloring: Copics

Thank you for your comments... maybe you have read it earlier this week that i had surgery? I will be happy to read your comments once iam back.

To You From Me

Here is my next card made for Magnolia. This time we got 2 heart shaped cards we had to use. I moved all my papers around and had this idea with a tri-folded card. I wanted to show on my card that the new images in this collection do also look so cute for other occasions than just Christmas. I have tried to show with a few more pictures than usually how the card opens.

In the center of the flower is a big Jumbo Eyelet so the ribbon can be easily threaded trough for closing. On top of that i added a clear button (Doodlebug) pretty much just for decoration and because it looks more "finished" with a bigger center inside the flower.
I think this side gives a pretty good view how the card opens. The other half of the heart is glued on the back of the 6x6 card.
other: stampin up standard wheel baroque to stamp the white heart card in Pretty in pink, sentiment is Stampin up
Designer Paper: Source unknown was sent by Magnolia
coloring: Copics
