Have A Cracking Christmas

Hello good morning. This is my last Magnolia Christmas card - at least i think so. Do you notice something? I used colored Cardstock as cardbase. I rarely do that, i don't but know for some reason i always pick white or vanilla. Since the base is black i finished the inside as well, so i was able to write my message with a pen instead of a white gel pen.
Since i had colored Tilda in just reds and some black i did not want to use papers with many other colors - luckily i have found in the stash this wonderful Wedding paper that did the trick with the tiny red dots in leaves of the floral paper. Stickles is on ornament, Christmas cracker and in the inside of the swirls of the big Christmas cracker. That's it :-) hope you like the card.

Stamps: Magnolia "Tilda from the Jolly Collection 2009, Christmas Cracker from the Magnolia Christmas Collection 2008
Sentiment: Amuse Art StampsPapers: Wedding papers (Source unknown found at Archivers)Embellishments: Charm (Whiff of Joy), Swirls (Prima Marketing), Stickles (Golden Rod and Candy Cane Red), Satin Ribbon (Offray - Michaels)

Wishing A Merry Christmas

Hello ladies, are you also still busy with Christmas cards? Every year i think.. next year i will start much sooner but i always fail :-)
Well.. as you can see my card for today is entirely made with Magnolia supplies. One thing i like to say is that i wanted so badly the this new Christmas Background stamp and every time i wanted to order it was sold out. When i looked though the delish Magnolia papers which i got at Magnolia-licous i have noticed the sheet with text in a wonderful fond and i thought that will do the trick for now.
A little tag was sponged and aged to add an additional Christmas message for my recipient. On Tilda's shoes and twig is sparkle added with some Glitter pens.
Stamps: Magnolia Tilda with Mistletoe, Merry Christmas sentiment (So Jolly Collection)
Magnolia Design papers are all available though Magnolia-lious
Embellishments: Snowflake hardware can be found at WOJ store in the charm section

Congrats on your big news!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Well.. today something different than a Christmas or Winter card. :-) iam sooo ready for some other colors. So for my card today i not only wanted to use something fresh.. i also limited myself not to use any Designer paper. I have simply added color by using flowers and some ribbon. I think the idea works well with this cute Tingla stamp or any baby card. Just nice and whimsical in white and pink :-).Here is what i have done. I used my circle Creative Memories shape and cut from Bazzill textured Cardstock my card base. You can see where i have not cut the top all the way around. Than i opened the card and cut a window with a smaller ring out. I than embossed a shimmery white paper with cuttlebug Embossing folder and adhered my ribbon to that and than layered it into my frame (of course from the inside i have covered up the ribbon ends with a piece of white paper)
The flowers have a nice coat of Stickles on it :-) and around the inner circle as well. I like to leave some ribbon ends farily long and the one end from the left was not really cooperating with me, so i just sat Tingla right over that piece. Just a bit more decoration since the card does not have any patterns going.

Vintage Wooden Lace Box

Hello welcome to my blog. Well, i was so excited to show this box that i have started a while back. I forgot to take pictures of the box the same day as the card and look what a difference :-(
Note to myself: Sets need to be photographed at the same day!
The wooden box was purchased at Michales. Before i started i took all the hardware off, than i painted all those areas i knew it would be kind of tricky to cover with paper, with Tim Holtz Tattered Rose Crackle paint. The Designer paper is sponged and than adhered with Modge Podge to the box. All edges have been carefully sanded down after the glue has dried to make it nice and even.
Same lace and embellishments to decorate the box as on the card. Now i think it becomes clearer why i went with that pinkish paper and this Tilda. I think this way the box can be "seen" all year round and Tilda.. well just because she is cute and she fits in a circle shape :-)

My box is filled with some goodies for a friend for Christmas. It has the perfect size to add Shimmerz, Stickles, Laces, charms and flowers! BTW the box was a steal for only 5 dollars :-)
Now i would like to sent you over to take a look at my dear friend Inge's blog who has made a project with my challenge for her "Decorate A Gift". I can not wait to see what she came up with, when i wake up tomorrow morning :-) Thank you Inge!

Tilda W. Vintage Roses Gift Set part I

Hello everybody. Thank you for peeking in :-) today's card was inspired by a sketch i have seen in old files over on Mojo Monday. The sketch had scallop's at the top and it seams i can not stop using my new laces i had to take the opportunity to go from there. I have just added a bunch more layers to my layout .The lace is a very bright white and it simply did not match my card. So i first airbrushed it with E50 and that still did not give me the look i wanted, so i have used lots of Shimmerz Antique Linen to stain it. Love them... not only for the shimmer they give my artwork.
For the sentiment... usually i cut the inner sentiment out and stamp it again onto a different color and add it into the center. It's just all the time the same what i do .. so, i thought.. lets make it look like a grommet. Looking at it now.. i think i like my "always way" better but it is nice to just try things out.
Before i forget.. the ribbon was adhered with narrow Soockwang tape to the top. This stuff sticks and this way the ribbon is nice and straight.
Stamps: Tilda with roses "Jolly Collection" available though Magnolia-liocus, Stampin up (Sentiment)Papers: My Mind' s Eye "Laundry Line", Stampin up (So Saffron, Rose Red), Neenah Ultra Smooth for coloringEmbellishments: Making Memories "Vintage brads", Lace, Shimmerz Spritz "Vintage lace", Stickles and Hero Arts Pearl stickerCopic Sketch Markers for coloring and aging the ribbon
I would like to say "Thank you" to everybody who participated in my blog candy. Be sure to swing by again to check cause i have some more to share with you. Lots of love, i appreciate all of you!

Santa's Helper

Hello ladies.. today is "Nikolaus" day in Germany and i would love to show you my little card that i have made for this holiday. If you have had no chance to visit yesterday, you might want to click on yesterdays posting.. the is a little candy for somebody of you, to celebrate this holiday.
The card is pretty straight forward. I have used Santa Edwin from this years Christmas Collection and the sack he is sitting on is from last years collection. The sentiment is by Amuse Artstamps. Check out the lovely papers :-) got them though Magnolia-lioucs and of course since they are made by Magnolia.. they just simply match and it so much less to worry about. Oh, on Santa's hat i have used a mix of Liquid Applique and in between the gaps i squeezed Star Dust Stickles. Unfortunately it is hard to tell on the pictures but on all the white parts of his coat i have used Sakura pens. The puff a little bit and it really does look super cute. Since this is a boy-ish card i wanted to be careful with any flowers or frilly stuff, but i could not resist to dress the red circle layer with some Candy Cane Red Stickles.

Other supplies mentioned than above:
the wide jute was given to me by my wonderful friend Carole.
Taffetta ribbon and Kraft Card stock is by Stampin up
i have used a circle punch to round the left side of my sentiment
to age all my layers i used Tim Holtz Distressing tool and Distress Inkpads
Around the sack i airbrushed a bit with E50 copic Sketch
Hero Arts Pearl Stickers
Tombow Mono glue
White Gel pen
Pop up dots to raise Edwin off the sack
Brads

Silent Night Tilda

Hello and welcome. I must say, iam disappointed how this card shows on the pictures. You know how this is? You have made a card, you really like and than you just can not get it right on the photos. Tildas (Silent Night - So Snowy Collection) cute face just looks so pale on the pictures. I don't know.. i think i must consider getting a different daylight lamp. Right now i take my pictures in the porch and since the daylight is getting shorter and shorter, it seams i can not get it right.
I love those pretty K&Company papers from last year :-) i have been hoarding every tiny little scrap i produce when making a card with them. I like especially the bottom paper with the big white roses. So pretty. I was able to cut it so it would show here and there some sparkle. On the brown paper I used lots of Shimmerz Spritz. On the Ponsiettas is Stickles in Golden Rod and on the swirls Star Dust Stickles.
The vintage flower embellishment (Melissa Frances) is aged with Distress inks and some Shimmerz in Antique . To deepen certain shadows on her coat and on her head band i have used on this time some Prisma Color pencils.

Merry Christmas

Today i would love to show you a card made with the new Magnolia "Jolly" stamps whooohoo.. Of course i had to ink them up and make some cards.. still not finished with my Christmas cards. This little cutie seams to be one of my favorites. I have used her already on 2 more cards/project :-) I like that she fits right into a circle shape and that makes it easy to use her for many sketch challenges that are out there.. besides of course that the image is cute lol
All the layers are distressed heavily and i have used on the book page some chalks to make them look even older. The circle is "dressed" up with some scrolls with my Nestabilities

Stamps: Magnolia "Tilda with vintage roses"
Papers: Stampin up and Graphic 45
Embellishments: Kars gems a gift from my lovely friend Carole xoxoxo thanks hun
Stickles in Candy Cane Red and Golden Rod, Making Memories (key and brad), Merry Minis (pine cone), as

Holy Night

Hello, thank you for swinging by! Today i have a card made with cute little Lucia from the Magnolia 2008 Collection. I totally love this image and the one with the shorter dress and, and, and ,and….. hahaha. Love them all, but since i have not inked up this stamp yet, i choosed her for my card. I know that if colored the dress, correctly i believe it should probably be white or off white, but i could not resist :-) the papers called for some color.

First i stamped Tilda, masked her and stamped over her “Silent Night” background stamp. Stamped Tilda a second time, colored in and cut out used smaller pop up dots to raise off my papers. For coloring i love Neenah white paper. On the detail shot below you hopefully can see the shimmer i have added with some Shimmerz “Butter cream” on Tilda’s dress and the Designer papers are heavily spritzed with Shimmerz sprays , they are originally much lighter and i was able to achieve a much more vintage look by adding the spray. However, i should have added my sewing first and than add the spray. The thread is too white.

Thank you for visiting me today i appreciate your time.
