DT #2 Thanks

Thanks_1_re

Good morning everyone…

Thank you so much for swinging by today. I would love to show you one of my cards that i have made with some stamps and supplies that i have gotten though Magnolia Sweden.

Magnolia wanted us this time, to use some of the stamps from older Collections. So in my DT package i have found the cute flower pot from last years “Chasing Butterfly Collection” .

I could not resist and combine that stamp with a stamped image for Honey Bee Tilda (Raising the Ceiling Collection) that i have gotten though my wonderful friend Carole last week. Thank you so much Carole for everything xoxoxox :-)

The little tag Tilda is holding can be found in the Magnolia “New Years Collection 2008”. The sentiment is by Stampin up.

The embellishments, flowers & ric rac ribbons are all by Magnolia – i have gotten 1 sheet of Design paper – per card i have to make, but obviously.. lol.. i like to have more so i have added a couple of more sheets from my own stash (Basic Grey “Wisteria” line). Thanks_re

Coloring is done with Copic Sketch markers.

Thoughts About …. Love

Hello thank you for your visit and your support you are giving me :-)

Today’s card i have made for our Challenge over on Cute Card Thursday the theme for this week is “Metal Mania”. Soooo, what better chance to use my embellishments i have received in my newest Magnolia DT kit. The gems strings you see on the card were actually two (one clear and one pink) tree branches. I took them completely apart and than twisted the little metal strings together using one pink and one clear piece to form my circle.

Cute little “Tilda writing in her diary” (Raising the ceiling collection) was stamped onto hot press 300 gr watercolor paper and colored in with Ink refillers (Blush Blossom, Pretty In pink, Pale Plum, Perfect Plum, Tattered Rose, Scattered Straw and Vintage Photo) In order to have her tightly sit in the circle she was mounted onto thick glue dots. The paper is by Magnolia as well and i have ordered mine though Sir Stampalot. I love the store! Shipping is amazingly fast and really reasonable to the USA.

The papers used here are from the Yummy for your tummy Collection ( Plaid and Pink Muffin Dot)

others are … Fiskars border punch Sunburst and charms both can be found at Cute Stamps and Cards!

Hope you like my card for today :-) big hug

Winter Fun

Hello ladies. Thank you so much for visiting me today.

So sorry i have not something brand sparkling new to show today :-)

I was working on my card submissions for Magnolia ink 3, a project for a loved one and on 25 Valentines gifts for the kids in school. puh… i just fell behind with all that on my craft table and the dining room table. I have such a good hubby that he is putting up with all that stuff :-)

Today we have gotten a big winter storm and the kids are off school. So i thought well.. at least the weather here in Michigan fits to my cards.

Claudia_Rosa_Winter_Fun_1_re

Both cards are published in Magnolia ink 1 and i think i have made them in August 2009. The first card was worked using a Sketch that my friend Jacqueline (also Magnolia DT) made and provided. I used Ski Tilda from the Winter 2008 collection. The Design Papers and embellishments on both cards are by Magnolia and i have no idea who the maker is.

Chocolate Box – Magnolia Ink 2

Chocolate_Box_2_re

Hello ladies, first thank you so much for all your lovely emails regarding my published cards and projects in Magnolia ink 2 . You have made me very happy. From some of you have have received some questions about the Gatefold box template which is published on page 30 and 31.

Chocolate_Box_1_re

I am unable to show you entire project just now but since the front of my box is not published just the card that lay’s on top of the chocolates INSIDE the box. I think i should be fine to show this project to you. I am pretty sure it helps to understand how the template “works”

The box opens like a gatefold card. The seam is hidden behind the lace, to bring the left and right side of the box close together i used the pink ribbon. This way there are no gaps and the paper is flush to the base of the box.

Chocolate_Box_re This Tilda you see is called “Bridesmaid Tilda” and should be released soon.  The background stamp on the heart is called “Old Valentine Letter” and is from the Valentines line 2009. Papers are Basic Grey Bittersweet, Ribbons: Offray, Gardenia Flower, Charm: Lost and Found, Gem stickers by Hero Arts, Stickles and Copics for coloring.

Puh! that was a long posting today :-) thanks for still reading

lots of love

Sneek Peek Wedding Collection II

Hello ladies… try to make it quick.. of course for my flower box i had to make a nice card to give a long. At first i was tempted to color Tilda’s dress just like the one on the box but than i decided that too matchy matchy isn’t quite it – this time :-) The flower accent on the upper left corner is a “Heidi Swapp” ghost shape and i airbrushed the one on the card in red and the one in the flower box in yellow to match my project. I added Stickles to the wings, flowers, around the heart shape and the center piece of the ghost shape.
