Glitter Me Silly

Hello all … oh… today is a fun challenge posted over on Cute Card Challenge blog :-) “Glitter Me Silly” looove it – you can give me this challenge anytime of the year lol. Okay… there is something about this Tilda… first i saw her used on a card last year by my friend Jacqueline. After that i HAD to have her. By the time i had her – it was too late in the season to use her on cards.. and this year.. i don’t know.. i have started to color her 2x and than misplaced my design paper that i had matched the colors with and the images never made it onto a card. hahaha… just so you know there might be coming some more cards with her if i ever remember what papers to use with the image.

I think iam a bit chatty today. Back to the card… the paper here is one sheet of double sided Reminisce paper. I love the strong reds on it. The entire punched out lattice i used lots of Stickles and also on the swirls and candy she is having in her basket. On the ground i have used Flower Soft Polar White for sparkle. Polar White has a bit more sparkle in it than the Ivory color. Unfortunately i could not get it really nice to show on my picture. I think it is wroth to get that color. (you know me.. i do not use Flower Soft that often)

Other embellishments not mentioned above: Felt flowers are by “Little Yellow Bicycle”, red glove charm (Merry Minis – Michaels) ribbon (Magnolia), Hardware (Stampin up) Gems (Hero Arts

Thank you for visiting me today i appreciate your time.

Absolutely Fabulous

Jaqueline came up for this week with wonderful sketch that requires a big snowflake in the center. I like her sketch has only one layer of Designer paper and rest can be done just with embellies. The lady in my local scrapbook store cut for me 2 snowflakes with her Cricut and i had one half piece left – which i was able to use for today. Since i just had half of the flake, i felt that i had to dress that piece up a bit more .. so i have used first Shimmerz Babies Breath for shimmer and than once dried i added Liquid Pearls on it.

As far as choice of Tilda :-) i guess i went with her because i had never used her before and she is one that i have not seen on blogs often. I think she is in the Winter 2008 Collection with skiing Tilda and Edwin.

Stamps: Magnolia, Sentiment: Papertrey ink Papers: i believe K&Company
Embellishments:
Shimmerz (Babies Breath) Stampin up, Tim Holz Liquid Pearls, Making Memories (button, brads), Michaels (little snowflake), “Glitter doms” (Archivers)
