Love Cupid

My card for today is an other 5.5 x 5.5. Here and there i really like to make them.. first they let me use some scraps i would otherwise toss in the garbage bin, second they just “work” for me better for certain images and last… shipping is a bit cheaper :-)

This card iam going to give a long with the slider card so i can use the 6.5 x 6.5 standard envelope for both projects.

This stamp is called Amour Tilda and can be found in Sweden in the Valentines 2009 section. I love to stamp this image on the front of my envelopes as well.

Happy For You

Hello my friends... the cards i have made to go with the gift card slider is just like the set i have submitted to Magnolia ink. Which is the slider card, a 6x6 card and 1 5.5 x 5.5 card. You can make all those cards out of 1 sheet of double sided Designer Paper and 1 sheet of 6x6 paper.

Whoohoo
! Thanks to my super sweet friend Kim and one of my wonderful readers Heidy i know what is published in Magnolia Ink... and ... lol.. the Pirate Slider set has not made it. Oh well... i had no instructions for it anyways.. and in order to post the step by step tutorial for my blog (Pretty Pressings) I had to make one again. So i hope you do not mind if i show sometimes next week the Pirate Set.

Stamps: Magnolia Tilda with Tag and flower box from the Valentines Collection 2009 can be found at Magnolia Sweden!!
The sentiment is from an old Stampin up Set called "Fancy Flexible Phrases" it has like 36 stamps and i think almost each fits size wise into the tag that Tilda is holding

Fairy Tales Frame Card Tutorial

Since i had made in the past a "Frame Card" where the scene is in the back panel stamped and Tilda/Edwin is adhered to the frame in the front i wanted to make it a bit different this time. I have stamped all my images onto one paper (the trees are masked) and just added the picture in my frame. It does look nice and it gives you more options with adding several more elements.
If you like this "different card style for a change, please check out my first card sample posted on my main blog Pretty Pressings. You can also find there the step - by Step Tutorial with photos!
. I used a High Hopes flower wheel barrow and have added Tilda carrying a flower basket to the lower right corner. I don't know if i was able to show on the picture the depth of the card. Oh and since this card can not be mailed in a regular paper envelope i did not care that my heart embellishment went way out side the usual 6x6 size, the outline part of the plastic heart is cute, it decorates my project and still allows to see a lot of colored image. Unfortunately those Heidi Swapp ghost shapes are getting pretty rare.

Stamps: "Cupid Tilda" with arrow and the trees can be found in the Valentines Section of 2008
Sentiment: Amuse Artstamps
Papers: Bo Bunny, Stampin up (textured Pretty in Pink)
Embellishments: Offray pink Satin ribbon, MS pearl stickers, Nestabilites, Kaiser Craft pearls,

And One For The Girls

Hello how are you today?
This is my girl version of the Valentines gift bag for the kids in Lucas Kindergarten. Fairly simple - the punched swirls look nice and it does not cost a fortune to "pep" the bag up with things like that. Iam so thrilled that sweet Carole ordered that punch for me! :-) Thank you so much!
Stamps: Tilda from the Valentines Collection 2008
Papers/CS: Stampin up (WWhite and Chocolate Chip) /Bittersweet Collection
Embellishments: Making Memories and Stampin up
Tools: EK Swirl punch and Martha Stewart Heart Lace punch

wow.... sweet Heather from Enchanted Stamping gave me this wonderful award! looove that one and the colors are just what i love :-) matches my blog layout lol. Thank you so much Heather!

Be Mine

Hello and happy start into the new week! The card for today uses the very new Magnolia stamps :-) iam sure you know those already, cause you also read the Magnolia Inspiration site or visit the other DTM blogs. I was so fast coloring cute Tilda in and the newspaper stamp that i totally forgot to stamp first the hearts with the stamp that goes with the newspaper. I was kind of scared to ruin the colored and airbrushed image so i was happy that Carole let me use the "Confetti Hearts" punch from Martha Stewart. (Thank you for helping me out) You know how this ... mistakes ALWAYS happen at the very end :-) and you have to start over again.I did get some paper and embellishments from Magnolia to work with, but my kids grabbed the paper off the table and they are now kind of crumbely :-) i was able to save the plain Bazzill CS and use it for the mats on this card. The DP used is from BoBunny and Stampin up. The pompon ribbon is sewed directly to the card. Stamps can be purchased in Sweden . Sentiment is from Stampin up's "Fancy Flexible Phrases" and iam so excited.. as far as i can tell all of the sentiments fit in the sign Tilda is holding. I stamped "Be Mine" with Going Grey - i think i should have used black, to make it stand out more.
