Hello, thank you for taking a look at one of my cards today.
Well.. this is the “simple” card i made during the Easter weekend. We have decided to paint the hallway in the house and there was not much time for crafting.
Since i just used one sheet of Design paper i thought… well.. that should be a easy card… BUT turned out that cutting the shape with my Nesties took, i believe 4 trials until i had it just right. They constantly moved or the embossing was with the second run though the machine off.
Anyhow.. if you want to do the same thing.. use some tape (backside) to attach the shapes temporarily to the paper, than cut and emboss and take the tape off. Voila… easy but i did not think about that the first time.
Other than that… to dress the card up a bit i have spritzed the papers with Tattered Angles Pearl mist (2 drops show on the chocolate frame :-( and painted Tilda’s dress, socks and gloves with Shimmerz paints.
Stamps: Princess TildaPapers: now that's something special… the paper has been designed by my fabulous friend Kristine Moldenhauer-Bisseth. hehehe.. i still can not get over that.. i know somebody who made this beautiful paper!!! This one is called “Cartas de Amor” and the color is Satin Pink. This line comes in all the trendy Nordic soft colors in addition to “Cartas de Amor” there is “Tuva” and “Martha”.
Tools: Martha Stewart (border punch, medium and large flower pop-up punch), Nestabilities,
