Hello and happy Friday...todays Friday Sketcher cards are already posted maybe you are working already on the fabulous sketch Murmur has made for us to follow this week? I always loved this cute Tilda i recieved from Magnolia a while back. I think since she is wearing gloves she is perfect for this time of year altho she was released i in the summer time.

I have to make it short.. my life is crazy at the moment.. i will be going into the hospital next week and try to get everything sorted out with my kids and the house. My blog should be running while iam gone. I will try to comment on your cards sometimes today. I feel i have missed sooo much.

Forever Magnolia

Hello again, here is my Magnolia card for today ( have 2 cards for today :-). I used on this card one of my favorite layouts. I love it because if i just have one sheet of patterend paper i can still play it off and make it look special. No need to have all the time so many matching patterns going on. Check out this card.. using the same sketch (it is a card my heart hangs on)

This card was purchased, i thought i decorate the inside of the card for Diane too :-)

Stamps: Magnolia (Tilda is from the 2008 Lilac Collection) the litte Daisy flower matches perfectly but i do not know in which collection she can be found. Embellishments: Ribbons are from the Loving Lilac kit that Rasberry ribbon will sell in September,

Hat pin is from Stampin up, pearl brads recieved from Carole, some flowers recieved from Donalda, oval sentiment is a metal sticker from Making Memories

Just the 2 of us

Today is the new Cute Card Thursday Challenge up! Challenge number 22 (wow.. time flies fast) is: 'The two of us'.
I used the theme on my sentiment. The picture of my card does not show really well all the glitter i used to make it look like there is snow on the grass and the wall. Unfortunately i sent this card wasy and by the time i did the photoediting .. it was already gone :-( So i was not able to take a new one in different light. Oh well.. i certainly learned from that. In real the area were the grass ist azzels and sparkles like crazy and it looks white! You can barely notice the color of the grass. I could have used liquid applique to imitate the snow.. i think this is the better solution if you want to show off snow on a card for blogs or fotos. I just personally love glitter more and iam a bad photographer :-)

oh well.. here is a close up shot.. still trying i guess.. but it is not much better. You can tell how dissapointed iam.

Iam so happy to tell you that my very good friend Kristine has accepted my invitation to become a DTM or better a "Sassy Sketcher Girl" on the Friday Sketcher blog. It was delicious

Good morning... I made this card using this weeks fun ISMAKI sketch. For this card i turned the sketch a bit. Once i decided on the sentiment i had to laugh.. funny how well it goes with my "De-liocus" blog candy iam offering. So hei.. iam so free and post a little reminder about the blog candy i have up for you to win. for this card i stamped a matching envelope with strawberrries on it. I just thought this card is so whimsical it would be nice to have this.

If you like the swirls i used on this card.. you can order these at Debbies Die Cuts. I have used the swirls on many of my cards. They are fabulous for a nice whimsical touch. They do have a nice size - different than the ones you can cut with other brands dies.

Friday Sketchers

How.. what a week :-) It is alreay Friday again and time foooooooor Friday Sketchers! This week Helene from Alota Rubberstamps has sponsored 2 absolutey fabulous stamps. How exciting :-) I was invited by my friend Bea to provide a sketch for the Ismaki blog. :-) wow.... i love the Ismaki blog so i was very happy about this opportunity. Thank you so much Bea for your sweet words ... you made me blush hahahaha

The card i made using the sketch also gives you the possibility to add your own personal touch because you can add a photo underneath the tag-flap on the front.
The sweing on the card is hard to see but sewed twice in to mimic the swirls on the DP. Stickles was added to the tag, the dots on the DP and Tildas wings.

I hope i can inspire you with the sketch and can't wait to see your creations! Happy stamping!

Is it already Friday again? My goodness the days are flying. Here is my card for the Friday Sketcher blog. Carole came up with a fabulous sketch for this week. I must say - it was a challenge for me. I created my circle with 3 big white Bazzill flowers and added in the center a Prima Hydranga. Tilda is sitting on a sheer white organdy ribbon. I kept the card on purpose in the lilac and white tones. I got this faboulous paper from Magnolia. It is pink on the other side with green leaves and lilac flowers. This side shows some small light heart shaped freckles. LOVE IT. Remember the Tilda that is throwing heats in the air, from the Valentines line?? I frist wanted to use this paper with her.

Welcome

I really love this new "Crate paper" :-) it gives you so many possibilites with the colors you can use when you color your images. I do not know HOW many papers i have here i bought cause i liked it, but than once i want to make a card i think.. hmmm what colors should i now use to color in the images?? The texture of this paper is kind of "shabby" :-) Do not know how to describe it better... it's not sooth as the other papers.

Today I publish my post for Saturday earlier than usually.. simply because i have to leave today and I am not sure when I can be online tomorrow.

I really must say I like how this card turned out :-) hihihi.. i love this new Desinger Paper i picked up last week. It has like clear embossing on it. Looks nice. I cut the paper in 4 rectangles and sewed it to the card. Each panel is sewed 2 x - i think that was the trickiest part of it. Bumble Bee is cut out and adhered with a spacer i got from Magnolia. I really must say the spacers i got from Magnolia are THE BEST! I can not find these here in my store. They have a special hight which is perfect for raising even small images. LOVE this product.

Yeeaahhh.. my Magnolia Spring Kit arrived (you can now purchase these stamps separate). Unfortunately i ran out of EZ mount and i first had to order ... well this time i ordered 10 sheets - i should be all set. This was the second time i got my anticipated stamps in and had no EZ mount. What a torture :-)

It was yesterday raining all day long ... so i could get a 3 cards finished.. unfortunately the pictures did not turn out very well. This is the first card I can show you ... will have to see how it looks today. Pretty easy card... stiching was performed with the sweing machine, Sakura Stardust pen for shine on the daisies she is holiding and Stickles on her wings.
