Fruity

Hi and a wonderful Thursday! Iam sooo excited because i know that i will meet tomorrow so many friends at the CHA in Orlando! jeepeeeee :-)My pocket card with gift card holder was made for the Cute Card Thursday Challenge (Fruity) is already on the way to Sweden. All the cute stamps i have used on my projects should be available for ordering now - not sure tho.. typing this posting on 8. July :-)

Some of you know that my wonderful friend Inge and myself challenge us here and there... so for this challenge we choosed to make a holder for a Gift Card. First i have created the pocket card.. but than i felt like it was way too big :-( i the card was done and i just was not happy with it. So i thought about making a matching tiny holder, which can actually be layed into the big card with a handwritten note or so. Voila and i hope it just looks like i had planned this all along :-)
If you want to re-create the little GCH here are the measurements:
Cut a strip of CS to 3 x 8 3/4
Fold it at 3 3/4 and 6 1/4 use corner rounder and adhere patterned paper pieces. Adhere stamped images, and tie with ribbon or a elastic band close, insert your gift card

Love and hugs

Hello Card

I do agree the papers are not very tropical but so pretty :-) i kind of like the combination paper and stamp. :-) I like to leave some cards without a sentiment.. this way i can just use them when i need one for an occasion. Always nice to have something like this in the drawer.
The card is sized 5.5 x 5.5
Stamps: Magnolia Pet Collection " Parrot"
Papers: Basic Grey "Urban Prairie"
Embellishments: Hero Arts Pearl Stickers, Shimmerz "Under the Sea" paint
Tools: Nestabilities Label

Hello Candy Wrapper

Okay.. :-) i promise ...this is for now my last gift set made with the Magnolia Pet Collection stamps. Can you believe it??? The set is inspired by some Haribo candies my friend Crissy sent my son Lucas. The bag had the same parrot on the front.. i just colored it a bit different to match my paper. The parrot is first colored with Copic markers but than i added a thin coat with Shimmerz paint "under the sea" as you can see it still lets the colors shine through but gives a nice shine and sparkle

Shabby Thank You

Just a quick card for this weeks challenge on Cute Card Thursday which is to use eyelets on your card. I wanted to make a more masculine card. Most of the males i know do not really like Edwin.. so i have picked the Brunte the horse and combined her with some rests of Basic Grey Bella Rose papers. Distressed everything heavily, added the eyelets and added some texture with some raffia Carole gave me. Sentiment is by Stampin up "Fresh Cuts".Dont forget to take a look at the blog candy i have posted yesterday :-)This posting is sheduled. Thank you ladies

Hei Kitty Kitty Gift Set # 4 part 2

Hello, a wonderful Wednesday to all of you. Almost done with the Pet Collection Gift Sets.. only one little set to go :-) I really felt very inspired the very cute and versatile stamps.
Here are a few shots of the post it note that i have altered. A friend made for me a while a go a few plain holders with her bind it all. The cardboard was orange. So i used my Copic Airbrush System and a black marker color it all black. NOTE: be careful around the wires or use later dark ribbons. To close the post it note i used some Velcro.. would have loved the Basic Grey magnets a bit better, but i had none left.

Since this is part of a birthday gift i had planned to add some candy inside the tin.. hmm.. lol.. i have to admit.. i ate the candy :-) Miami here i come! So instead of candy i have added a tube of black and white Prima Flowers. Hei.. that's better for shipping anyways lol
Stamps: Magnolia Pet Collection "Tilda with Kitten" and "Cat", Stampin up (sentiments)
Papers/Cardstock: Stampin up (walk in the park)
Embellishments: various ribbons mostly by Stampin up, pomp pom by Doodlebug, Hero Arts (pearl stickers), Stickles
Tools: Stampin up (Scallop border punch, Word Window punch)
Nestabilities: Label, Circle large and Circle small, Flower shape

Hi and a wonderful Monday. Thank you so much for all your lovely comments on my card this past Friday! I think iam going to have a tough week ahead of me with some family coming to visit us later this week from Toronto and getting my family prepared for the vacation (we drive with by car down to Miami). I have decided that i am going to have this month here and there some random blog candies to give away. I would love to avoid the blog candy blogs.. I want the prizes going to some of you who come and visit me regularly and to be honest.. i will not have the time to just check if you have advertised my candy on your blog. So iam not going to ask much..the candies i will have up are always for one day only. :-) Some gift sets are bigger, some are smaller.. but i hope it is going to be much fun for everyone. Please know that i appreciate each and everyone of you. Thank you for coming to see my cards and if you have time to leave me a message.lots of love Claudia

Sweetie

Hello, since iam going to be this month for 3 weeks on vacation i wanted to make something cute and fast. That was the plan, but after i started this tiny card it turned out that i really had to put a lot of playtime into it, just like for a regular 6x6 card. I have made it for Cute Cards Challenge for this week Faux stitching or sewing.. since i sew pretty much on EVERY card, i did want to take on the faux stiching challenge. Every label layer is pierced and i used a black and white pen for the stitching. The images used, are all the very cute Magnolia Mini stamps. Unfortunately those are at this point not available online but the new Fall Kit can now be pre-ordered :-)

Stamps: Magnolia Mini Collection stamps

New Magnolia Kit

Hi, fabulous news.. the Summer kit is beeing shipped and now we can pre order the Fall kit ooor even the year subscription :-) check it out here

Simple Apple Cake Recipe

Gosh i had a crazy day yesterday. I want to tell you all about it after the details to the card. Cause that's why you are coming to visit right? The card was made for 2 challenge sites one the "old Magnolia Challenge" where my friend Carole picked "Tilda with apple cake" for this week and also for the Copic Challenge blog where we colored "brunette" hair in. Thought of ideas who to use this cute Tilda a little different. iam not a very big "pastry" maker - rather love to eat them.. so instead of a cake i made a recipe card for the person who can bake for me the cake hahaha

Above is the close up shot to see the hair colors. I love recently all the colors from E15 all the way to E19 mixed with E50! The other 2 shots show that the inside, with the recipe can also be used as a cookbook bookmark

Stamps: Tilda with Apple pie
Papers: K&Company "Wild Raspberry" Stampin up (pretty in pink, Baja Breeze)
