Arigato ~ Travel Collection

Hello, thanks for swinging by today.
I would love to show you a card made with Asia Tilda. I have gotten this image along with the Magnolia tree (Easter Collection) to make a card for Magnolia Ink 4.
As you know my style probably now.. i like bright and cheerful colors especially for the summer months. When i got my stamps there was not much time to shop for papers around cause i had to hurry for the deadline, so when i came across this piece of orange and pink paper i thought i would be a nice match. Unfortunately when i picked it up a while back at Joann’s there was no other matching pattern available to play with layers.
Now you may recognize that the scalloped frame is made with a Frameabiltie and the card is still a 6x6. Below is a detail shot so you can probably tell better how i have extended the frame to make it work for this big image. It was quite some finger work, especially when it is time to glue all the pieces together…. but hei… what are we not all doing to make a pretty card, lol

Farewell Tilda “Bon Voyage”

Claudia_Rosa_Always One of my absolute favorites of the new Collection is this cute Tilda – her name is “Farewell Tilda”. I colored her matching to the 7Gypsies papers i had. Kind of loved the earthy tones for a change, to the summer stuff that i still have sitting on my craft table.

Claudia_Rosa_Always_1 I was rather carefully with the use of Stickles on this card but there is still some on the little handkerchief and her tear drop that rolling down her cheeks.

Boutique Tilda

Hello, i hope you have a great day today.
Over on the Friday Sketcher my very sweet and talented friend Jeanette provided quite a great sketch for this week.
This is what i came up with. I really like the Webster pages, i love the tiny prints, script fonts and colors of it. Just a nice change to all the Basic Grey papers. The card features the oh so cute :shopping Tilda” with matching “Boutique Window”. Unfortunately i had a bit trouble with the lightning on my card. Her hairline and her cheeks (colored with RV21) barely show on that photo. On the boutique window i used Paper Glaze and on top of that to highlight the jewelry some Stickles, aaaannnd.. :-) can you tell i love my new Magnolia DooHickey dies? :-)

Chinese Friendship

Claudia_Rosa_Friendship_2 OMG… iam absolutely in love with the newest “Travel” line! What a brilliant idea from Pauline to draw Tilda representing several countries!
I combinded this cute little Chinese/Japanese girl with some of my Basic Grey papers – which i must say had no idea how to use them – but with this image.. PERFECT match :-)

Claudia_Rosa_Friendship The bird cage is by Tim Holz and i cut it out from chip board coasters and covered it with some Tattered Angles Distress Crackle paint to match the colors. The inside is finished as well. On the top of the bird cage i adhered a little chain and at the bottom a charm. The “friendship” stamp is by Stampin up.

Rosie-Tilda

Hello girls, today i would love to show you a card i was able to make yesterday morning with one of my new Tilda stamps. Isn't she the cutest? I am not sure in what up coming Collection she will be or her name but i like to call her for now Rosie-Tilda :-).  My friend Agnes purchased this stamp for me at a local expo Magnolia was back in April in the Netherlands.
Once again.. totally yummy and the rose paper is definitely my favorite, it’s just so easy to combine it with Edwin with rose (Raising the Ceiling collection), Bridesmade Tilda and so on and on…

Carte Postale

 Hi, welcome to my blog!
Today i want to show you more pictures and keep it short with my text.
I altered this white Provo Craft box for consideration for Magnolia Ink 4
The box was first on the edges airbrushed with several Copic colors from the E 10 numbers than covered with papers by K& Company (they are heavily spritzed with Tattered Angles and aged with Vintage Photo) – i use Modge Podge to glue papers onto 3D items.

Stamps: Magnolia
Edwin with Rose and Eiffel Tower (Shabby Chick)

Here i a shot to show you how the box can be opened. Yes it is more a fragile thing with the paper doily but i gave this box to my wonderful friend Crissy and i know she is most likely using the piece more as decoration or to hold some stamped images inside.

Sending My Love

Hello ladies, thank you for your visit. Wow.. seams like this card has been made ages.. infact, made this for Magnolia ink 4 :-) but than i was un secure if the papers would match the theme of the magazine.

Finally cut into my one and only sheets of Magnolia Yummy for Your Tummy paper (all the papers can be found at Sir Stampalot) and created 2 pockets to hold handmade tags to be able to use show more stamped images.
You Make Me Smile_1_re
The entire card is sprayed with Tattered Angles mist’s and all images are water colored. Monarch butterfly is punched out from vellum and than stickled, by doing that the wings of the butterfly curled themselves down.. what a neat effect.
You Make Me Smile_2_re

Guestbook

Today i will make it short… just show you a bunch of pictures :-)
When i created the card – i also colored one more image in and just added that to a book i had for a while. It is from Imaginice and can be used like a picture frame.
All i had to do with it was adding some stickers “Recollection” and some ribbons and i think it does look really cute together with the card.

Just For You!

Hello ladies, iam so excited to show you this card. My wonderful friend Agnes got for me this cute Tilda with Parasol stamp! she got this stamp at a local expo in the Netherlands for me!!! Thank you so much for all the trouble you went though to get me that cutie xoxoxox
This stamp is soon available though Magnolia.

I wanted to fill up the space behind or underneath the parasol and i have tried several different accessory stamps for that reason but i liked the post bag the best. Kind of like she is protecting all her letters.

Coloring was a lot.. i experimented with lots of warm greys in the pink and green areas. The paper doily is aged with Distress inks, spritzed with Tattered Angles Glimmer mists and than also Stickled. There is also Stickles on the parasol, letters and on the flowers.

Sweet Days

Aaaahh… this has been a long time since i colored this card :-) I made this card for Ink 4 – it did not make it into the magazine but i must say although the card is for me already “old” i am happy with it.
Yes.. bight greens and stronger tones with whites and colors.. i experimented with grey’s mixed in the colors like the RV on the watering can.
