Hello

"Hello" - today I would like to show you a card made for Arty Girlz Challenge Blog. The challenge for this week is to use anything round on the project. My card uses round pearls, the flower, the round sentiment and the new Polka Dot CB embossing folder.

Tilda was like Edwin yesterday watercolored with my SU inkpads and an aquapainter. I used a prismacolor pencil for the hearts. On her wings is Diamond Stickles. I think it doesnt show well on the picture but overall the card is pretty girly :-)

I did not resize this pic - so if you like you can click on it and you can see the details better.Stamps: Magnolia and Stampin up (In the Spotlight Level 2 Hostess retiered)
CS: Close to Cocoa, Summer Sun, Lavender Lace, White
Embellishments: SU Pretties Kit, Flower from Magnolia, Organdy ribbon (?), apricot SU ribbon, Stickles, CB Polka Dot embossing folder
Ink: Stazon and various Inkpads, grey marker
Tools: Nestabilities, Horizontal Slit, small circle Punch

Shy Edwin

I love this little Edwin soooo much. When i saw him in my Magnolia DT package i was really almost jumping up and down :-) I have two little boys and he will be so adorable on many comming cards for my family.
This card was made for an another amazing sketch over at ISMAKI!

To color Edwin i went back to my roots when i did not own all these fancy and expensive coloring mediums like markers and Prismacolor pencils. He was simply watercolored with my Stampin Up inkpads and an aquapainter. It was a lot of fun. But at the end i think i should have been braver with the blue for the sky.

Stamps: Magnolia and Stampin up for sentiment
Tools: Nestabilites and SU Punches
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Purely Promegranate, My Minds Eye DP
Embellishments: Antique Brads
Coloring: Inkpads, White Signo Gel Pen, Chocolate Chip for sentiment

Feeling A Little Hoarse?

The task on this weeks Magnolia Challenge blog is to create a "Get Well" project. I wanted to use the new Magnolia stamps. So i thought horse... hmm.. hoarse... and i got it. So i wanted to give some tea and some cough candy. But it did not work out what i had in mind. However i was able to incooperate my tea bag in the card :-) and instead of cough drops i will give chocolate. Hey.. who doesnt like good chocolate when you are sick in bed?! There are other days to count the calories.

The tea bag tag is decorated with the little horse of the new Magnolia line, isnt he cute?! Around the horse are some dragonflies.. i thought that was kind of funny.. i used to horseback riding back in Germany and when horses are outside on the field there are ALWAYS lots of flies :-) The dragonflies are stampes on a piece of acetate and cut out. I left a tiny bit of triangle shape on the bottom so i was able to attach this piece behind the horse and the glue is not visible. On the wings of the dragonflies is stickles. Love btw my new Cuttlebug embossing folders - on this card i used the new paisley folder. The heartshaped praline box is stamped on Shimmery White CS (even my husband was looking closely at this and asked how i added the shimmer) looks really soft. Tomorrow there will be no card on my blog i think it is time for a new crafty project. I will show you how to make this cute box. You can use this for chocolate, tea bags, put Prima Flowers inside for your crafting girl friend.

Thanks for stopping by today. I can not wait to see what you come up with. Next week is school again and i should have more time for blog hopping :-)
stamps: Magnolia (except the fern Art Impressions) Sentiment computer generated
CS: Chcoloate Chip, Pretty in Pink, Kraft, Ruby Red, Shimmery White, White, Very Vanilla,

Verve Visual Challenge

Clicke here for my Magnolia Blog Candy Challenge

These cards were both made this past Sunday. Both for the Verve Visual Challenge . I do think the second card will not qualify for the Challenge, cause i decided not to add the two elements on the top left corner. I really loved the card just the way it is. Simple! No more embellishments.
This card uses: Magnolia, Penny Black and Stampendous stamps. The swirls and the butterfly are highlighted with some sakura stardust pen.

Now the second card is my favorite. I havent used this stamp in soooo long and i really enjoyed coloring the flowers.
Stamps used: Stampendous and Stampin Up for sentiment

Friends

Would you like to win a cute Magnolia stamp? Check out my Blog Candy Challenge!

I have made this card already two weeks ago, but i couldnt show it cause the card was a surprise for my friend Tammi. Now that she got her mail i can show it to you. The card works also for this weeks Papertake Challenge, to use stripes on your project.

To the card... the tag panel is SU Very Vanilla CS, sponged with Close to Cocoa. The swirls are from "Bronc Buster" set with Close to Cocoa and stamped once off. The big twine is from Stampin up as well, i stamped the word Friends (SU current Level 1 Make It Count set)with Timber Brown Stazon on it. Jumbo eylet is from 7 Gypsies but i would love to get some from SU, i think they are easier to set than this brand.

Ismaki Challenge

You can win a Magnolia stamp. Just make a card with your favorite color... check it out here

I made this card for the Ismaki Challenge Blog and for the Magnolia Challenge blog. It also works for Mondays Papertake Challenge blog. I used some sanding paper from husbands workshop :-) cause the challenge is to recycle something. The sanding paper is sponged with a bit with close to cocoa and chocolate chip to give it more definition. The sky was sponged to create the clouds. The long panel in blue behind Tilda is wheeled with Fishy Friends and the sentiment (both Stampin up retired sets) was first stamped with a glue pad and used Martha Stewarts green glitter. Tilda and the crab (High Hopes Stamps) are mounted onto spacer.

Loads of Flowers

I made this card for the Arty Girlz Challenge blog. I know i am late but i thought i give it a try. This also fits into this weeks Papertake Challenge to use flowers on your project. The sentiment is hard to translate. It's a card for somebody who just passed the drivers licence test. In the pocket i put my drivers licence to take the pic but when i sent this card to my mom (she is giving it away) she will add in the pocket a gift card from a gas station

stamp set: Loads of Love Stampin up

Happy Valentines Day

Edit to add: Thank you Monica for your question... yes i do have instructions on how to make this card, here it is: Buckle Card Instructions

The new Magnolia Challange for this week is to create eigher a buckle card or a romance card.
So For ROMANCE, we would love to see your Romance Art Work, Could be a valentine card or could be just something Romantic, I don't think we need to go into detail on this one , but As long as your work is " Romantic " & Of course includes the use of Magnolia stamps, Any Form of artwork will count be it a Scrapbook page, Altered Art etc or a Card!

I made a buckle card for this week. The DP is from My Minds Eye and i know that rustic look of this paper will appeal to my husband. Because of that, i used Stampin up's twill on the buckle and stamped my sentiment (Stampin up) directly with Stazon on it. The DP was cut, so when the buckle is closed you can still see "xoxoxox" from a piece of DP on the bottom of the card. Tilda is stamped onto Very Vanilla Paper and sponged a bit close to cocoa around her. Her dress is paper pieced from matching DP.
