Take A Note

This little post-it holder is made with the Raspberry Ribbon kit for next month. Hope you will like it. I have one more card to show using all the wonderful ribbons you will get.

This project is pretty much self explaining, right? The only thing you might want to know is how i made the chipboards so white. I used first my Stampin up white craft pad but it did not give me enough coverage so on top of that i sprinkled white Detail embossing powder and embossed right on the chipboard. Worked out fine.
The back was decorated fast but i simply did not want to leave it plain.

Magnolia stamp: Raspberry Ribbons and Chipboards, Serenic Route, EK Retro flower Punch, 7 Gypsies jump ring, Making Memories rub-ons
and the wonderful gems are sent to me by my friend Carole!!
Thanks for dropping me a line today, i would love to read from you once iam back. Thank you!

For you

Hello and happy Friday...todays Friday Sketcher cards are already posted maybe you are working already on the fabulous sketch Murmur has made for us to follow this week? I always loved this cute Tilda i recieved from Magnolia a while back. I think since she is wearing gloves she is perfect for this time of year altho she was released i in the summer time.

I have to make it short.. my life is crazy at the moment.. i will be going into the hospital next week and try to get everything sorted out with my kids and the house. My blog should be running while iam gone. I will try to comment on your cards sometimes today. I feel i have missed sooo much.

Trick or Treat

Hi and welcome today for an other Halloween card :-) i told you... lol.. this paper will be used :-) in fact i called the Scrapbook store and have two more sheets on hold of the wonderful green swirl paper. This card really sparkles a lot... It was difficult to get all the shimmer on the picture - maybe you can tell if you click on the card - on the black paper the dots glimmer. I don't know if you had a chance to play for the blog candy i have posted but you will receive a set of those silver embellishments i used on this card with some other stuff of course.

Have you checked my friend Anne's blog yet? She does design for Magnolia as well and has really adorable cards up on her blog, plus she expects any day her new winter Magnolia's. So keep an eye on her blog as well as on mine please :-) We will start making cards as soon we have the new stamps. I expect my new stamps to arrive maybe tomorrow or on Saturday. I can not wait to see them.
recipe for this card: combine some cute stamps (Magnolia "Tilda" Fall 2008 and Edwin's house Valentine 2008) with some glitter paper from K&Company and Making Memories. Embellish with Making Memories and wrap with some of your favorite ribbons.

I would also like to mention that my friends Kelly, Tanja and Gisela awarded me with some wonderful awards. Thank you so much ladies.
Oh.. this card was made for Cute Card Thursday Challenge blog as you can imagine :-) what else on Thursdays, right??? Please go check out the other Designers work. See you tomorrow.
Hugs

Boo! To You!

Hello and happy Tuesday! Today i would like to show you a card i have made using this weeks Ismaki sketch. The dimensions of this card are a bit bigger than the long card i have made a couple of weeks back using the Sarah Kay image because i wanted to create a little szene with the very new Magnolia Halloween stamps. This card fits into the standard SU large envelope.

I totally fell in love with these two Halloween DP papers :-) You are going to see a few projects in the next days this card is part of a "gift set" iam working on.

DP: K&Company and Making Memories
Embellishments: Swirl: Debbies Die Cuts, Stampin up: Hardware, Ribbons: Stampin up, Raspberry Ribbons and Michaels

Happy Holidays

Todays card was made already in July :-) I really, really love this card. It was really a labor of love. The masking of the floor took me a while, because the scale of the stone floor was not right at first. The coloring of this card is all done with Copic sketch markers. At this point i had not as many colors and i worked a lot with my blender pen (look at the fire place how the color gets light to the top). The more makers you have the easier and faster it is to color in of course. On the fire is some Stickles to make is sparkle, sponging was done with Close to Cocoa ink.

I just went to comment on blogs and found a wonderful card using also this Magnolia. check out Clodine's card using this Tilda. I loove this card.
This card is sold to Christina :-) Thank you so much that you liked this card.

Stamps: Magnolia
Sentiment: retiered Level 1 set, Art Impressions
CS and DP: K&Company, Blue Bayou and Chocolate Chip
Embellishements: Stickles, Double stichted SU ribbon, antique brads
Tools: Sweing machine, Creative Memories circle template, ribbons slider Nestabilities

Yes, these pictures do not have watermarks because they were submitted to a card magazine but remember that they are digitally protected by "my free copyright". Unfortunately i have to mention this these days. Thank you!

Tilda with Dalecarlia Horse

Sorry iam late today :-) My sons 5. birthday party is today and we are getting ready...

Today's card is made with one of the new Magnolia Autumn/Halloween stamps 2008. Can you imagine how i bounced when i saw the images and this Tilda Bea sent to me from Stempel Mekka?? I can not believe it... she shipped on Monday and i had it yesterday in my mailbox. I think this Tilda works nicely also with fresh colors alto she is in the Autumn release. So i picked up some of my Basic Grey Sugared DP and worked with my Rasberry Ribbon kit. I knew exactly that i wanted to use my new sentiment stamp Bea sent me for my birthday. wow.. thank you so much Bea :-) I really like how this turned out. It was really fast (expect waiting time for the craft ink to dry) The layout of this card is really nice.. i have made a second card i used this sketch as well- i think i can show this card on Monday.
Other: wonderful pearl stickers sent to me by Carole , Stampin up Hodgepodge hardware
CS: Pretty in pink, Tempting Turquoise, Basic Grey 6x6x pack

Don't forget to visit Carole's blog she is has a fabulous blog candy to offer!!! While you are there check out her cards she is a DT for Alota and the Friday Sketcher blog. Her work is wonderful and inspirational.. you will not be disappointed!!!

Lovely

Hi there.. .iam sorry if i caused yesterday some confusion with my posting for today. I had all of a sudden problems with blogger (Hallo Gisela Lach...) my hubby was able to fix gosh.. i thought i had to start a new blog...
Today's card uses a sketch that my friend Kristine created for the Friday Sketcher blog to follow this week. I would love to thank you in the name of all Sassy Sketchers again that she agreed to join.. i have invited her already at the beginning of the blog but she denied so iam even more thrilled to have her now sharing her incredible talent with us.

Again.. i am not happy with the picture of my card. Seams every time when i color Tilda on the sled the pic is all dark. I spoke yesterday with my friend Michelle cause i love how her pictures look and asked for her advice on tents. I really appreciate Michelles knowledge in crafting things and she was so kind to share her experience.

Stamps: Tilda with sled was sent to me by Diana Crick - I think Diana has her in stock so please contact her at magnolia.us@shaw.ca
Designer Paper: Fiskars Heidi Grace, Soft Sky
Embellishments: Making Memories and Stickles on the layers of CS, Swarovski Christal's.

Today I wanted to tell Patti that i think a lot about her! Patti is leaving Switzerland and is preparing her big move to Australia. Gosh i know so much how it feels and how scary it is. If you can drop her a line on her card making blog :-) i think she will not be able to post something there in a while :-)

hugs

Made With Love

This week on Cute Card Thursday we want you so show us cards showing any kinds of foods or cup cakes. When you click over to the blog.. you can definitely tell that many of us fell in love with this cute Tilda :-)

I made a Triangle-Fold card. It has been a very long time since i have made this card. The size of my card is 5.5 x5.5. Cut two sheets of 8.5 x 11 to 5 x 10 fold in half and glued together. From there i you just work the same way as you would do with the small size you find on SCS the tutorial. My piece of chipboard took a little more work and attention :-) this piece comes in plain grey like most of the chipboard's do. You will receive these with the new Raspberry Ribbon kit. I used my Craft Whisper White stamp pad to give it the base color - than i added white embossing powder, shake excess off and added one layer of Dazzeling Diamond Dust - than heat embossed everything. It looks really nice and sparkly. The backside of the chipboard is just plain white covered with ink. Tilda is colored with Copics. On Cupcake and wings is Stickles.
I totally LOOOVE the pearl stickers Carole sent me as a gift :-) they are sitting really on my desk in front of me - i want to use them on every project. lol you will see when i show you my second card using the Raspberry Ribbons chipboard piece.

Here is a peek of the inside. Since the challenge said "foods" i wanted to use also the matching cupcakes image. Again.. Carole came to the rescue!!! :-) she sent me a while back some images of this stamp. :-)

Least but not last.. the back of the card. I have to show you this... When i received Kristine's absolute stunning birthday card i noticed how pretty she not only decorated the inside of her card... no she even spent time to work on the back as well. Not to compare with my card. I simply stamped on the DP. Kristine really adds a design with patterned paper to the back of the card and than stamps the circular stamp over it. It looks soooo cool. I needed to know were she got the fabulous stamps with her name and blog. She shared with me the name of the seller in Malaysia and i pretty much ordered the same stamps she used on her card lol and of course some more :-) The stamps are nice prized, the seller is super nice plus shipping was fast. Love it..
Now to the supplies:
Tilda with cupcake Kitchen collection
CS: new SU colors: Kiwi Kiss and Pink Pirouette matches so wonderfully the Basic Grey 6x6 sugared paper collection
Chipboard piece: Rasberry Ribbons
Ribbon: Kiwi Kiss double sided Very Vanilla
Swarovski Crystals
Personal stamps used on the back made by Loongchai Malaysia

Communion - Confirmation

I love this card.. can you tell? :-) so many pictures :-) This cute Tilda stamp is just perfect for Christmas cards or as i thought on my first card using her as a Communion / Confirmations card. The image in the front is watercolored - the dove in the inside of the card is colored with Prisma color pencils - because the paper i used is a vanilla color and Copics do not work on this paper. The card was inspired because i recieved the the new Rasberry Ribbon kit and I wanted to create a card where the ribbon show and there are not many other embellishments used. All what i added are 4 tiny Swarovski chrystals to "adhere" the square panel visually to the card. Tildas wings have a thick layer of Stickles so they are after drying a little 3-dimensional.

Stamps: Tilda in the Heavely Collection
Papers: Bravo Burgandy, Very Vanilla, Creamy Caramel, K&Company
Coloring: Stampin up re-inkers, Prisma color pencils, shimmery Pebbles chalks

Happy Birthday

Helloooo :-) today is Friday Sketcher time :-)
What a wonderful sketch Heidi provided for us to play with this week. I was amazed when i saw all the amazing cards that the Sassy Sketchers came up with and Iam sure you will be inspired as well.
On Heidis sketch are the 2 "main" embellishements marked as circles on the upper right hand side but since i started my ribbon threading on the left side - i ended there as well and i had to switch the embellis from one side to the other. Remember, you can add any kind of embellishments on the indicated spots of the sketch.

Stamps: This Magnolia Tilda and chair
Other: Ribbon thread punch Martha Stewart, sevaral circle punches, Nestabilities, Stampin up: Clip Assortement
Coloring: Copics
Embellishments: Prima Marketing Flower and red button were sent to me by my friend Carole
CS and DP: all by Stampin up
Edit to add: dont forget to check out Heidi's and Nikkis blog candy !!!! wooohoooo

Best Friend

Hello and welcome to my new Cute Card Thursday Challenge card. :-)
This week you should use "cats & dogs" on your card. Boy.. this card was already finished and submitted to Deb and Andrea, otherwise i would have loved to sent yesterdays card in :-) However.. Rufus is adorable. I think he is one of the MUST-have animal/accessory stamps Magnolia has to offer. I have used him quite a lot on cards and projects.

Since the image was really fast colored, i thought I'd give the DP some extra texture and sewed also along the lines of the DP (the diagonals). When i made my first "bite mark" cards i had a couple of emails how i created these. You can read about it here: Card for Gizmo
Stamp: Rufus Magnolia (Shabby Chic 2008), Paw print (i believe Inkadinkadoo Joanns), Sentiment: In my thoughts by Stampin up
Paper/CS: Serenic Route, Stampin up: Tangerine Tango, Kiwi Kiss and Chocolate Chip, Aqua painter
Tools: Sewing Machine, various Circle punches, Word Window punch
Embellishments: Heidi Swapp green rhinestone sticker, Hemp Stampin up, Eyelet: Making Memories, Ribbon: Stampin up
Coloring: Ink: Stampin up re-inkers and Chocolate Chip, black Stazon

Hello Pumpkin

Hello and happy Wednesday.. my card for today is also one i will sent to Sweden. I wanted to use on my second Halloween card some other stamps than the fence and the cute pumpkins we DT recieved. So i thought.. hmmm the cat and the haybale would make a nice szene as well! The card was farily fast... since i did not use many layers and had to sew. i just used one sheet of patterend paper so i used some of Debbies Die Cuts fabulous swirls to give the card the needed embellishments and visual interest. It does not show really well but i airbrushed the background with Copics in grey and the edges are airbrushed with Pumpkin yellow. Tildas orange "dress" is the same colors as i used for the pumpkin - i used lots of the colorless blender pen to lift the color out and make it look a little different than the orange used on the pumpkin.

EDIT: I would like to show you a link to a Halloween card i published here in June.. if you are on a stamping budget and can not afford all the new stamps.. take a look at this card: Halloween - you can make stamps work for 2 occasions.
Stamps: Magnolia (Tilda 2008 Fall collection) Heybale (Valentines 2008 collection) Cat (not sure should be 2007), Sentiment: Computer generated
Swirls: Debbies Die Cuts
Other: Stampin up: Clips, Prima Marketing Flower, Making Memories rhinestone brad
Coloring: Copics, Copic Airbush system, Pebbles shimmery chalks, Prisma color penicls, white gel pen

Spooky

Yesterday, i received spoooooky mail :-) These adorable "frightening" creatures and little girls arrived all the way from Sweden to "Trick or Treat" us :-)

The Tilda's are always so cute :-) but take a look a the ghosts aren't they adorable as well? :-) they have a little bow on the head - on one i left it, on the other i cut it off so it is kind of like a boy and a girl ghost. The spiderweb is embossed with black detail embossing powder on the ghosts is some Stickles to make them sparkle.

Gosh, i am so happy that i got this Martha Stewart fence punch.... i was hesitating so long and by the time i had made my mind up - it was sold out everywhere. I really drove a lot and was able to find one for me and one last one for my dear friend Carole.
Sentiment: Michaels $1 stamp
Paper: DP unknown.. Magnolia, Pumpkin pie, Black and Going Grey
Tools: CB Swirls embossing folder, Martha Stewart fence punch, Nestabilities
Coloring: Twinkeling H2O paint and Stampin up re-inkers

I love frosty nights and warm hearts

Hello and happy Monday. Today i have to show a picture of a card i am so dissapointed with. I have tried 2 days in a row to get a nice picture of this card - but it simply did not work out. The weather was not very nice over the weekend.

This card really sparkles so pretty!!! I used Stampin up's Heat and Stick powder to adhere Dazzeling Diamond Dust. The stamp i used to add the swirls to the background paper is from Stampin up "Baroque Motifs". One of my all time favorite stamps cause it is so versatile!!!! Tilda is watercolored and i used lots of Twinkeling H2o paints to give the image also shimmer. Stickles is used on the scallops.

Stamps: This Magnolia stamp I love this stamp and will defenetly use her very soon on my cards again :-) i do not know the name of this stamp but it is a 2007 winter collection stamp.
Sentiment: Elzybell (isnt this perfect??? i bought last month a whole bunch of them)
Swirl from Debbies Die Cuts. You have to check her store.. she has so many wonderful die cuts!!!! Plus she will cut for you in any color cs you want for your project.
Stampin up: Baroque Motifs for the swirls
Other: Prima Marketing flowers , bottom flower was sent to me by my sweet friend Carole
circular silver embellishements were found at Archivers in the wedding section

I know this layout.. i have made already a card with it - i really love it. I wanted to go still a little bit summery before i can not use these kinds of papers anymore.

The second card is all made with scraps i had left. As many of you know - i LOVE to make cards using just the accessorie stamps from Magnolia. On this card i used the strawberry bowl. Yummy, yummy :-)
