Friend

Edit to add: This card is sold to Isabelle T. - Thank you so much!
Hello and happy Friday! Again iam in a hurry with my posting for today :-) I played the lottery with this card :-) I spoke with some of my fellow Magnolia DT friends and some of them have recieved the very new Easter stamps already in the mail. So, yesterday i have waited and waited to see if my stamps would arrive too, so i could use them for the card using Kristines sketch for the Friday Sketcher :-) but nothing yet buuuhuuu.. i hope today i will have some mail from Sweden :-) So i picked this lovely Tilda stamp and omitted the hearts she is blowing and added instead some punched out butterflies. I think it does look pretty "springy"

On my card for today i have set the the 2 requested panels not straight to my card. If you like check out my other sample card that could also give you some inspiration how 2 Magnolia images could work for the Sketch over on the Friday Sketcher.

This is a close up shot to show you how absolutely amazingly the Shimmerz paints work for the Magnolia wings :-) I used for my card here the "Pixie Dust" paint. Simply wonderful and not overpowering you can still see the lines of the stamped image underneath.

Sentiment by Amuse Artstamps
Paper: Stampin up Orchid Opulence, Wild Wasabi DP Making Memories 8x8 Spring Fling found at Target the other day :-)
Embellishments: Prima Marketing for bling, Stampin up Eyelet and brads, Martha Stewart butterfly punch, Shimmerz Paint in Pixie Dust

Please take a look what Carole, Bea, Heidi, Jaqueline and Murmur came up with using the sketch for this week.

Thank you

My dear wonderful friend

Edit to add: This card is sold to Isabelle T. - Thank you so much!!!
Hello and happy Wednesday :-) Are you up for a new challenge to use one of your "older" Tilda stamps :-) this week it was my turn and i have picked this cutie :-) i bought her but she never saw ink and i can not even remember in which Collection she can be found, sorry :-). I think she is so darling. I can envision her on a farm themed card :-) as well. For my card today, i wanted to use some of my things that were kind of in my way.. that scroll embellishment from K&Company almost came off the plastic it came with and it soon would have been not usable anymore, by picking some of my items out of my basket, i also came across this little paper bag that i used with a tag that came with it. Here is a close up picture from Tilda - for those who want to see the coloring a bit better

Stamps: Magnolia "Tilda", Sentiment: Stampin up
Paper/CS: My Minds Eye "Penny Lane ", Baja Breeze, Pretty in Pink, Neenah CS for Coloring and cardbase
Embellishments: K&Company, Hero Arts Pearl Stickers, pink Taffeta ribbon, Prima Marketing, Paper bag, Making Memories button, Nestabilities, Stickles, Retro flower punch
Coloring: Copic Sketch

Please take a look at Carole's blog and Jaqueline's site because they also joined the challenge and made a card using this Tilda image for you. If you like to join in our challenge each week.. feel free to use Carole's, Jaqueline's, Bea's or my blog to link your creation.

Happy Birthday Inge Groot

Hello and a wonderful Tuesday. My little project for you shows you my fabulous friend Inge's birthday present. Inge and myself challenge each other since November last year - this month it was my turn and around i choosed the "Diaper Fold". Now i had not planned to show this today because, psssssst Inges birthday is on the 28. this month.. just in case you want to leave a message on her blog :-) BUT she showed her super cute Diaper Fold yesterday so i think i should show mine today. Now I just took those pictures at 9 am this morning and the light is not very good so early but still can you see how absolutely shiny and shimmery the paints from Shimmerz are??? i have used those the very first time and they are super easy to use. I used Pixie Dust on the bumble bee, the circle and the daisies and on the leaves on the Designer paper i used some Celery paint. i created my own glossy shimmery Designer paper with the paints. Now, the other good thing about the Pixie Dust, i noticed while i was using it, is that even if i used over some Copic colored areas that it still shows me the actual coloring underneath. Unlike with the Copic Glitter pens where you are going to cover all the work you have done previously. I looove it!!!
Stamp: Magnolia Tilda from the "Shabby Chic" Collection, Sentiment: Reginas fabulus Circle Sentiments i used again the 1" circle
Embellishments: Shimmerz paints in Pixie Dust and Celery, Stampin up Ribbon,
Papers: Imaginice and Riding Hood Red
Tools: Nestabilities, Martha Stewart Tiny Hearts Collectible Border punch, Crop a dile, SU Circle punches

Hugs Inge!!! now it is your turn for next month :-) i can't wait to see what you will come up with!

Hugs - Get Well Soon

Edit to add: this card is sold. Thank you Karen J.!
Hello and happy Saturday... o-m-g.. i don't know when it was the last time that i was able to be in bed until 10:30 :-) My card uses one of my all time favorite Magnolia Tilda images. I have used her so often on my cards - she is just special to me. his was the first card i started to practice with the Warm Grey Copic markers to color hair dark. The card was inspired by the wonderful new "My Mind's Eye" Designer papers - this one is called Bloom and Grow.

Somebody told me once that there are way to less "Get well" cards made and i agree.. so i looked through all the wonderful Sentiment and image printable stamp sets that Regina's Cutting Cafe has to offer and surly enough there are many to find. Since my card is sized 6.5 x 5 3/4 i went with the 1" circular Sentiment. On the inside i used the new fancy Nestabilitie shapes that i added to my Copic order with 7 Kids College fund. Love those - they have the perfect size to add a Magnolia inside or a sentiment plus some own writing.

Stamps: Magnolia Tilda and Sentiment: Regina's Cutting Cafe
Papers/Ink: My Minds Eye, Tangerine Tango and Neenah Ultrasmooth White and Memento Ink
Embellishments/Coloring: Copic Sketch, Prima Marketing, Airbrushing, Stickles, Martha Stewart fond punch for leafs and Arched Lattice

Have a wonderful weekend hugs Claudia
