Hello dears, how are you today?
I
would like to show you a little hand knitted vest i have made for an
acquaintance. I am pretty sure she will be more than surprised when she
is reads my name on the envelope lol.. she is expecting her first baby and i think it is such an amazing experience (if you are not constantly sick)
i wanted to make her a little card and of course since i love to knit -
i wanted to make a little baby sweater. They are made so quick, the one
you see i was able to whip out in just 2 evenings. I even have some
yarn left and if i find time i might make a matching hat. The size you
see is size 3-6 months, with some room to grow into. I remember getting
way too many gifts in size newborn and the babies grows so fast - i
wanted her to be able to put the little one in this handmade gift a
little longer than just a few weeks. Hopefully she likes it. Fingers
crossed.
Oh
yes, there is also a card i made to go with the sweater ... the colors
of the sweater dictated the colors - i found them in the fall line
(Walking in the Forrest) of Maja Design Design papers but i think it does no show too much. You can find all Maja Design papers over at Timbroscrapmania.
I also would like to submit this card to Timbroscrapmanias challenge "Baby's coming".
