Tomorrow is a blank page....

Hello good morning. This is my "girl" version using the super cute images from the Magnolia Graduation line. Iam not quite sure what paper brand it is cause all the supplies were sent to me by Magnolia Sweden where you purchase the stamps. To dress the card up a bit i used some of the clear acetate foil i had sitting on my table for this weeks Challenge on Cute Card Thursday. I just sponged the edges a little bit with timber brown Stazon so it would stand out a bit more against the paper.

Stamps: Magnolia Tilda and Sentiment from the Graduation 2009 Collection
Tools: Nestabilities, Retro Flower punch small and medium
Cuttlebug Swiss Dot
This Tilda was just taken from 7 kids College fun into the inventory!

Magnolia "Pet Collection" 2009 is available for pre-order at 7kids College fun!! :-)
The Collection includes not only super cute Safari images also a cute Tilda for horse lovers, Tilda with bird cage, Edwin with Lizard (just one of my favorites lol) and Tilda holding a kitten

Shining Moments

Hello - its Friday again.. this week the lovely Jacque has her very first sketch up over on the Friday Sketcher blog and boy she did start out with a fabulous sketch to work with. Can you believe that she is stamping only since November last year? If you have a extra minute hop over to her personal blog and drop her a line and also check out her personal blog candy that she is offering.

Okay :-) my card was made with CS pieces i had left over from my Easter DT kit that Magnolia Sweden had kindly provided for me to make cards with. I felt those green papers look quite elegant and work for the Edwin stamp from the new Graduation line very nicely.
Papers/CS: unknown and Stampin up for layering
Embellishments: ribbons and brads from stash
Coloring: all Cool Greys and W0, W2, G20, R30, E00, E000, E11, E50, Y21
Punch: Ek success "Fleur de lis" (found at Michaels)
This cute award was given to me by the wonderful Sam :-) check out her blog she has so cute cards up on her blog!
Check it out.. :-) Tab from 7kids broke down and ordered those cute Gratuation line stamps for her store :-)

Gift card & Wedding card with Graduation Collection

Hello today i am able to show 2 cards. Both cards were made mostly with supplies provided by Magnolia Sweden. I have added some things that our sponsor for this weeks Cute Card Thursday provided for the Design Team to work with. Thank you also on this spot to the wonderful Deb who did not hesitate to sent me to the USA some goodies to play with!

For my first card i used the gift card holder. I have punched with my Martha Stewart punch a decorative border, folded it over and use the ribbon as a closure. In the inside i have simply stamped the Magnolia Graduation hat right on the paper. For a moment i considered to stamp on the other side a sentiment, but i had folded already the zick-zack and i was worried to mess it up.
The second card was inspired by the black card base that Magnolia sent to work with. I had 3 6x6 bases and this little one with 3 sheets of Designer Paper. For the little card i have worked just with my Cuttlebug embossing folder. I did not get the sitting Tilda from the Graduation Collection so i just used the glass vertical. Around the card i have added a clear acetate sheet folded in half provided by our sponsor and tied the ribbon so to the cards that it would hold in place. To make the ribbon ends curl a bit, i just held my heat gun for a moment to the organdy. The card was done.. but something was just missing :-) so i went with my little brush and some Shimmerz in "candle light" over my glass. This paint dries really fast so i just held the acetate a little bit open and within minutes the card could be closed.
check out the very new cute Basic Grey papers Lemonade and June bug :-)

Before i forget!!! Check out Vicky's fabulous blog anniversary candy on her blog Cuddly Cards!and the very lovely Ali's candy on Stamping Heaven !

Boy's Treasure Box

Hello a wonderful Wednesday to all of you! I have made this tin about 2 weeks ago. I was lucky because i was able to submit this project to this weeks challenge over on "Stamp with Fun"!Lucas not neccesarly loves to go shopping with me to the craft stores but once we are there he runs to the bead section, lays on his tummy and is under the shelfes to find his treasures lol. It was time to make him something special so he could keep them nice and save. I used for that a Stampin up Hodgepodge tin :-) He liked the tin BUT mommy did not sort his beads in the right order! First thing he did was getting it all right :-) THAN i got my praise for making him the tin. lol
Papers: My Minds Eye (dont remember the line.. i have used for the tin my last precious scraps i had)
Tools: Making Memories (Slice for letters)

Some news for you:
We are starting a fun blog for our Old Magnolia Challenge next Wednesday, 10th June. Since starting our challenge a number of months ago, we’ve been asked by lots of bloggers if they could join in with us. So…this blog will be for all of you who have a love for all old Magnolia stamps and would love to show their creations. There won’t be prizes or sponsors, it is just going to be a meeting point for everybody to link the cards we all have made with the Magnolia stamps. We all hope to see you next week.
