Today is my turn host over on the  “Friday Sketchers” the challenge for this week.
The sketch i came up with – i agree is not a very easy one.. but as the DT shows with their sample cards it can be translated in so many ways. Check it out!

My card was inspired by this cute Cherry Blossom Starbucks Gift card i picked up a while ago.

The gift card fits right underneath a sentiment which i have printed with the computer.

A Gift from the Heart

Hello, today i have a little card for you.. which i have submitted to this weeks challenge on Cute Card Thursday “WHATEVER”

Well… when i colored this image and started it all out.. i have not even thought about going into this more Christmas direction. I just loved the vines that the design paper shows and i thought some more green with my punch would be nice and all of a sudden the card looked totally different. Sooo… whatever :-) i like it the way it is non Christmas paper or not :-)

Teabag holder

Hello, i hope you all had a great weekend.
I was able to work off quite a few cards – so i should have some time to get in my creative mood to make something for the next Magnolia Ink.

Anyhow.. when i got this cute “Japanese Tilda” stamp i new i wanted to make a card and maybe something crafty with her. The

tutorial over on Splitcost for a teabag holder was perfect. However.. that little cover took me way longer than i had anticipated. :-(

WANTED

HI there… thank you for visiting me.

Today i can show you a card made with one of my new stamps … Cowboy Tilda from the new Bon Voyage collection. I know i might not make loots of cards with her :-) however i had to have her in my collection!!!

She will be great for girls cards and to pull off that distressed and worn look on papers and embellishments.

The paper is from Cosmo Cricket “Wanted” 6x6
The “hanger” is made from a sheet of cork and the die is by Tim Holz i got that die with all the flowers from my dear friend Crissy. 
Antique brads and twill are by Stampin up

Coloring is done with Copics: i used all my colors in the E07/01/08/09/19 and the colors from the 20-section.
The card was worked using a sketch that my dear DT Fran for Cute Card Thursday has made. !! I love your sketch.

Hello, i hope you have had a great weekend. Well… i have not ordered the Magnolia summer kit,  the first time since i have started to use Magnolia stamps. This Tilda as ladybug image is definitely one of my favorites, i found some papers in a older Basic Grey stack that matched quite nicely.

Texting Crazy

Hello, today i have quite a different card to show than the usual styles.

The challenge on Cute Card Thursday for us to follow is “Texting Crazy”. I took this opportunity to play with my brand new Magnolia DooHickey dies. On this card i used the swirl and the flower die. The flower was made from the same designer paper, distressed and spritzed with Tattered Angles Mist (Pearl)

Just A Note

Hello, how are you today?
Since i had the other night that clean up tick i came across some really quite cute paper scraps. I have anyways a hard time throwing papers away :-) even the bits from white paper, i keep to practice my sentiments or the inks of my colors to match papers later on.

I love love love this note paper from 7gypsies.. i think it is about 5-6 years old, at the time i was not even a card maker. I got it for something else. Just last year i was trying to locate this specific paper again but no chance. What i like about it is that the notes are so close and almost look like it is from a 6x6 paper pad. Oh well i have some odd ends of it.. maybe i can come up with one more card to use it up.

Thought the “just a note” would be quite cute in combination with the image and the paper, so i just printed it with my computer on paper. The font is called “Chopin Script” (how funny – that matches too). The image is water colored with Distress Inks and since this cute Tilda has been sold in some US stores already a few months back – i would assume it should soon be available.

I Just Heard!

Over on the Friday Sketcher my very talented friend Janneke provided quite a great sketch for this week. No way i could miss that one :-)
This is what i came up with. I really like the Memory Box papers – i ordered first just 1 to see how they are in real and than got the rest of them all. Just a nice change to all the Basic Grey papers.

Gumdrops & Gingerbread

Hello ladies, thank you so much for clicking by. We are back home… oh my.. we have had a great time but the car drive back home was really long.

Just when i think that i have my laundry and luggage in order, i look in my backyard and see how tall the weeds grew in the time we were gone and iam so disappointed. All that work we did just weeks ago, you can not even see it anymore. Can you tell.. iam not so happy with yard work anymore but i can not wait for my first tomatoes, i want to try to can some :-)

This is my first card after 2 weeks or half of it. The image was colored last winter and i forgot it which was perfect for this weeks challenge on Cute Card Thursday “head start on Christmas” and i just had to make the base.

Sending My Love

Hi there… thank you for your visit..well.. we are back home from our summer trip.
I know i will be totally exhausted from our 24 hour car ride but happy to be back home.

I hope i will have soon some time to make a card.. kind of worried how it feels after such a long time.. if i can pull something cute off.
Fortunately i still have this “back-up” card i can show today. I made this one for Ink 4. Thought it would be nice to have some Edwin cards.

Altered Nesquick Container

Hello, a warm welcome to my blog today, than you for having a look what i am able to post today.

Well… as you can see …. i have tried to submit a set to Magnolia Ink 
My kids love chocolate milk and we used to buy many many of Nesquick containers. So i altered one plastic container (after rinsing throughly to get the chocolate smell out) with papers, flowers, ribbons and gems.

to set a big jumbo eyelet and add the thick string i had to push my crop a dile fairly hard in – and i was worried i would rip the paper completely (of course i was on the last sheet of paper and the card was already made) but it worked out after all.

I submit this project for today’s challenge on Cute Card Thursday which is “fruity”
