If I had one wish…

Hello good morning. Today's card is worked using the sketch by my friend Jeanette provided for this weeks challenge over on the Friday Sketcher blog. I could not resist using my brand sparkling new Martha Stewart punch:-) whoohooo Michaels has a lot in and guess where iam going right after i dropped Lucas off in school. :-)
Flying Tilda is water colored with distress and Stampin up reinker (Blush Blossom, Pretty In Pink, Cool Caribbean, some Green Celery, Going Grey, Rose Red, Scattered Staw and Vintage photo)

those wonderful swirls are made with one of my new Tim Holz Dies my friend Crissy sent to me. Danke liebste Crissy.. die sind wirklich toll x0x0x0x. The swirls wings and the flowers are heavily stickled.

I thought one of my sentiments i had from a older Stampin up set would fit nicely to the fairy, it says:
If wishes would make you well… you’d be better already~ the shape i stamped the sentiment on is called Blossom 2. Must say was not such a fan of some flower Nestabilities but than i had a good coupon and i bought this set locally and i am happy i have it now in my collection, bought so many of the label kinds and they never get a use :-(

The Bride Wore Red

Hello, thank you for swinging by.

The new Magnolia Wedding Collection came out just in time. My very good friend Crissy’s daughter married a week ago and i was so happy to be able to use the new stamps to make a card for her.

I was unable to attend the wedding but i saw pictures of the bride and she looked simply stunning. She wore a red dress and she got married to her wonderful husband outside close at a beautiful lake.

My images are all water colored and if i told you how long it took me to color this image it .. i think you would not believe it. My husband just looked at me and shook his head. The water coloring is serious business for me lol and iam just not good and confident with it.

For The Newlyweds

Hello and welcome to my blog today. I hope you have had a fantastic weekend. 

My card for today is one of the ones i sent back to Sweden. I had from my DT package this cute patterned paper in my sleeve but nothing else to layer with, but i believe the layout with the bigger focal point image and the cut outs of the Nestabilities work and it does not look boring.

All images are colored with Copics, the Wedding rings are first colored with Copics and than i brushed a layer or two for sparkle with Shimmerz paint on both of them. Once this was dry i added a big squeeze of Stickles to the diamond.

India Tilda

  Hello ladies, thank you for your visit.

Today it is my turn to provide a sketch for Cute Card Thursday to follow. As usually we have also a great price for you to win if you submit your card. Find all the details on the challenge blog.

On my card for today i used cute little India Tilda, which can be found in the forth coming Travel Collection.
Instead of adding flowers to my card i went with some converted earrings i found at the dollar store. I took them apart and just added some matching gem stickers to centers of the scrolls.

Follow your heart….

Hello, thank you for swinging by. Well, that was kind of odd with my problems i have had with blogger. Must say freaked me a bit out, because it seamed that it was only me who had the problems.

Today i would like to show my 3. Magnolia Design Team card. With this one i went more with the romantic style … Distress inks and romantic with paper doily and lots of flowers.

The layout came together with the papers and flowers i received in my my package. To add layers to my card i cut the second sheet (same pattern) a smaller size and layered it with a frame made with Martha Stewarts double arched punch and added a paper doily.
The tag underneath the image was an after thought … i wiggled and pulled to get it tucked underneath.
The hinges are made with Tim Holtz Alteration dies and are simply cut from a coaster and than spritzed with Tattered Angels mist to color it in.

OMG.. iam so excited.. i know the new Magazine is at retailers.. whoohooo.. I can not wait to see it

Back to my card for today. This was the first card i have made when i got my DT package. You probably know already the image…. the DT has made already fabulous cards using it and it is also one of my favorites.
Tilda can be ordered soon though Magnolia Sweden  . 
I combined it with a paper from Webster petite papers.
Embellishments are all mine, vintage rose is by Jolee, Melissa Frances (key lock), Lace, organdy ribbon, paper doily and flowers from stash.

I colored with Distress Inks and Tilda’s dress is highlighend with some glitter pens.

Edwins clothes are colored with Sahara Sand and Tildas dress is colored with Going Grey and than i have added sparkle with my Sakura Stardust pen all over it – rubbing the ink/mica with my finger into the paper.

Going To The Chapel

Hello ladies,
OMG.. this weekend went by way too fast.
Today i can show you one of my DT cards made with the new Wedding Collection stamps. As usually we do not know at this point what the correct name of the stamps will be.
I wanted to make at least one card that’s a bit different than the vintage style.
So on this card i used modern papers, a overlay with silver flowers and Copic markers to color all my images in.

on the shot below you can see the overlay – roses are cascading down and on the right is the word “Adore”. The acetate is adhere with tiny glue dots underneath the left hand flower arrangement and underneath some of the bigger silver embossing. It worked really well and you can not see them at all.

Here is a detail shot of the coloring – hopefully it shows okay though the acetate. I must say i had some trouble with the placement of my images, so Tilda would not be half covered by the flowers. I think i had to stamp it 3x until i was happy.

Alright.. and just because i like my card lol.. a shot with out reflections. :-)

Make A Wish

Hello and a happy Memorial Day.
Today i would like to show you a card made with some of my Fairytale Collection stamps, Fairy dust Tilda and Dandelion background, OMG.. when i saw that Dandelion image i badly wanted that one :-) so glad that one did not sell out before i was able to put my order in. Anyhow… I did get some stamps from the up coming Wedding Collection and i was able to make a couple of cards at night but can you believe it.. i had no time to take pictures. My in laws are here since Friday and omg.. they work so hard in our backyard that i have a bad feeling if i would go inside the house :-) but now my yard looks soooo pretty again, just a small piece to go and i think i can do that later next week myself. 

I did show my card already Sonja via email and she asked me how i have created the frame… so i want for those of you who might want to know also how i have created this.

You will need
Spellbinder Classic Frame & Label one

from white paper run Classic Frame twice though cutting machine, emboss and sponge with ink Lay on Soft Suede your largest die from Label 1 and the third counting from outside to inside (skip one use the next) cut and than emboss. You can adhere the dies temporarily with some double sided tape so they do not move when you cut and emboss.

Cut your dandelion image also with largest of Label1 and adhere it underneath the soft Suede frame. Than cut the 2 pieces of Classic frame apart and just use the top part of it. Arrange the pieces so they would make a frame – i tried to match up the scrolls with each other (you can see what i mean on the left corner). It was time consuming but i think it was worth to try for this card.
